  1. I agree 100%. I have two, and both are defective. I threw the 2nd one away after sending in the first one. They are garbage!
  2. Oh I definitely understand that. I'm the type that would sometimes rather fix it my self if at all possible and I'm confident hah. Seems a little unrefined right now if we are not sure what we are touching together, is the battery safe do you think?
  3. I can't believe this can't be resolved with firmware. So unfortunate. I have a 2nd Orion just sitting there cause I don't wanna spend the 10$ to send it in, already sent in one lol 20$ to fix 100$ worth of a product. Almost a 1/4 of the cost shipping to get them both working. Anyone have a link to the repair video and do we know if it's the same permanent fix evolve performs at the repair center?
  4. any eta on a firmware to fix this that is user upgrade-able? I emailed the help desk and they said "there is not a software fix for this issue yet" does that mean it is possible that an update will come out soon, just not YET? I got a 2nd orion today and if has a build date of september 11th 2018 but I dont even wanna use it outside of the house from worry it will go unresponsive when i need it. Would be great to fix it at home
  5. Right, I had just seen in a video we’re evolv mentioned it works with most combinations of wire and that since most sub ohm tanks use non resistance to connect to the actual coil be it kanthal or whatever that it should still work in that combo. It doesn’t appear to however at least on the coils I mentioned. I’m not really sure though of the coil wire used in them so not sure if it should be working. On the falcon you can clearly see in the coil a short section of thicker wire going to the actual coil
  6. Just got my paranormal dna250c and so it doesn’t work on a falcon with f1 coil, a Valyrian or a uwell nunchaku. Kind of a bummer because I know for sure at least one of those uses a section of non resistance wire to the actual coil and that should be sufficient I thought for replay. Not gonna run around town buying coils / tanks to find one that works lol
  7. It doesnt really matter if you set it to 30 watts, the max ohm set for the .5 coils is .71 which it reaches within seconds and then is limited at 19 watts, then the device lowers wattage to around 13 to stay below the max .71 ohm. I have not tried to increase the max because I dont want to fry a coil. best thing to do to get a get idea of the max settings is to watch the device logger, its pretty cool
