  1. Just as I suspected, I put my mod on charge at 50% and no problems. The issue is when it full or close to full.
  2. That's what I'll do if I can't figure something out in here. How many times will they rma in the 1 year period? I had the board go out completely a week after I got it and they sent new one out and I soldered it in.
  3. This is the first time I've had a problem like this since I've had mine last October.
  4. Doesn't feel loose but I'll check that when I get back to my tools. Weird though that I only notice it when full or close to full.
  5. I'm getting weirdness even without firing. I also fired it with mod just sitting securely on the table and still happens
  6. It's while it's charged up that it seems to happen the most. Haven't paid much attention to when it's dead and I put it on charge.
  7. I am having same problem with my other 2 cables now and also it goes straight to warranty service when plugged in half the time and the other half shows no amps or lightning bolt and the few times it starts charging it starts the amp low like .15 and slowly goes up to .99 but some times doesn't go over .6
  8. One more thing that just happened, I plugged charger in to top off before leaving the house and it never showed the charge icon only the percentage and my amps which were at 0.00. Unplugged it and plugged it back in and same thing, switched cable and started working. I've been using this cable and haven't had an issue before and it works fine any other device.
  9. So a few days ago I noticed that when my vtbox200 gets 100% charge and I fire it while still plugged in I get a warranty service screen and it won't fire (obviously) until I unplug from the charger. Anyone else ever see this happen? Should I be worried? Thanks.
  10. It's already a finished product. Saw pics yesterday where it looks like they have them already in a vape shop somewhere. Seems nda would go out the window with them being for sale already...
  11. Here is another forum that has the actual mod pictured but not much info that I can find. Where are all the evolv people at? Surely they could say yay or nay. http://www.thailandvapers.com/threads/hcigar-vt75.15003/
  12. Just saw an Hcigar 26650 VT75W mod on a post and they are claiming it's a new board from evolv that works with escribe. Can anyone confirm or deny this?
  13. Yes, I submitted a ticket to evolv and they asked for the invoice so I sent them the next best thing (the shipping slip). They told me to send in the board or mod, which ever I could, so I desoldered the board and sent it in and they had a new one out to me in a couple days.
  14. It was the cable I was using...... It looked thick and good quality but wouldn't do a whole amp. My battery cell 1 is now up to 4.00v when the charging stops so it is coming back up to normal a little at a time. The trick is since it isn't discharging as fast as the other 2 cells I vape it down till the other 2 are around 3.6-3.7v and then charge it from there and it lets the cell 1 catch up a bit.
  15. So after a couple of days my cell one has came up to 3.86v so looks like it may resolve itself with some time. Another question on the same line of curiosities is I have a 2A charger I'm using and I know the dna only uses 1A but when I'm charging it's only drawing .65A, why is it not using the full 1A?
  16. OK, tried a different lipo pack yesterday from a friends mod and it showed each cell perfectly balanced and charged it to full just fine. Another thing I have noticed is cell one doesn't drain as fast as the other 2 cells either, i.e. the other 2 will drop from 4.2v to 4.16v while the 3.82v cell stays at 3.82 for a longer period of usage. I do believe I am at fault on this one as I inadvertently soldered the jsth connector on the wrong way and connected cell one to ground but was thinking it would recover back but since the other 2 cells are reaching 4.2v it cuts charging off to all the cells, doesn't really seem like a balance charge but it's my fault they aren't balanced to begin with so I won't whine too much lol.
  17. When connected to pc the current slowly drops from .48ish to none when cell one hits 3.82 and the other 2 at 4.2. Maybe i'll just have to drain the whole pack down and charge it back a few times and see if that irons out the issue. I think if I used a hub I would get the same results as the dna board would stop drawing anything at the same point. I changed my charge screen to display usb current so I'll see what happens on the 2A charger when it gets close to full when I get off work tonight.
  18. I'm having the same issue with mine but it's a new board and the battery was fully balanced when I took the old board out to send in due to it just stopped working. Now cell one won't charge past 3.82 volts and the charging cuts off when the other 2 are at 4.2v. I use both the pc to monitor the charging in escribe and a 2A charger (I know the board will only charge at 1A). Just wondering how can I get the mod to charge the one cell without looking at the other 2 for shut off voltages? Would USB recovery charging get all cells back to balanced?
  19. Nope, he uses a business account. He said the invoice he downloaded from gearbest needed asian language pack for adobe to open so it's in Chinese anyways. The shipping notification has same info as the invoice did from what he told me.
  20. OK, I got a reply from evolv and they said to send the mod along with the receipt to them. Will the shipping notification suffice for a receipt? It has the product and total on it.
  21. Not sure if it makes a difference but I followed the contact us link from the warranty page and submitted a request through http://www.evolvapor.com/contact.php here first. I just went back and noticed the contact form you follow straight from the home page was different so I submitted one through http://helpdesk.evolvapor.com/index.php?a=add so maybe I just sent it to the wrong place the first time.
  22. Nope, nothing from them in spam either. From what I've heard their support is top notch. Hopefully I will get a response soon.
  23. Is evolv still around? I submitted a ticket but haven't heard anything from them yet. I took the board out last night and I have 11.8v from the battery to the fire button and when fire button is pressed it passes 11.8v to the other leg of the button and down to the test point on the side of the board but nothing happens.
