  1. I have had nothing but a wonderful experience with my Wismec Reuleaux DNA200. It uses 3 x 18650's and I believe that it should meet all of your other criteria. I actually dropped my Reuleaux into a bass boat livewell as it was filling up - about 3 inches deep of water. I immediately pulled out the batteries and let it sit in the sun and dry out for the next few hours (3-4). It still works like a champ and is still problem-free.
  2. I was having similar issue with my VT200, but it was screen disconnects. I shipped it in to Evolv and they fixed it and had it back to me inside a week. All it cost me was shipping. I would put in a ticket with Evolv and see if they can help.
  3. retird is correct. They only warn you about that as a precaution if the battery is bad. As an update to my previous post, my VT200 showed up in the mail today and is working like a champ so far. I'm guessing they replaced the whole board as it no longer says "HCigar" as the manufacturer in Escribe. It now says that Evolv is the manu. and that it is a "reference mod". That all sounds good to me. I was not charged a penny for any of it, not even the return shipping. (I did pay the "to" shipping when I sent it in though.) Big props to Evolv for getting my VT200 working and back into my hands.
  4. I'll go ahead and kinda add mine to the list. My screen stopped working properly (would randomly update, or freeze just showing the idle screen even though it was firing) and then the screen just died completely. HCigar, even though it was advertised as having a 1 year warranty, told me to send it to Evolv. Evolv first told me to take it apart and make sure the ribbon cable was seated properly. I'm good with electronics, but was a little disappointed that I was basically told to try and fix it myself. After doing everything that Evolv suggested, they gave me a RMA number and warned me that if I needed a new battery that the battery would cost $20. I know the battery is fine, but whatever. I enclosed a note that if they couldn't fix it for less than $40, to throw it straight in the trash. At least my Reuleaux DNA200 is still working like a champ.
