  1. Thanks Pphish, will try and report in a few days.
  2. That’s a good point I haven’t cleaned my 510 on the paranormal, so I’ll try that when I get home. I haven’t touched any settings since I got it except for adjusting wattage of course. How do you turn on/off the temp sensing coils option directly from the mod? Went searching in the menu but couldn’t find an option for that under the replay profile. The crown 3 I’m not sure if the replay is working properly as I haven’t tried to vape till it dries yet but strangely I just tried my vaporesso in wattage profile and the ohms read very close to what the coils are spec’d at .16 ohms as it’s rated at .15 where the crown was almost .12 off.
  3. Did you have to play around with any setting in the paranormal? I have this exact rta and mod, but replay is very erratic and hasn't been working for me. Any suggestions? BTW I double checked post screws and everything else I can think of, which didn't help anything.
  4. I haven't yet tested out all my atomizers across all of my mods or used the atomizer analyzer yet. I'll check through all of that first chance I get. I'm starting to get the feeling that either the paranormal has an issue or perhaps the lightning vapes 316l wire is making things get wonky. I did testing on most of my rta's although using the same wire from the same spools fused 28ga wrapped with 36ga wire. The dual coils seem about right at .21 ohms 2.5 mm 6.5 wrap. Tried the replay on the themis, kylin, blitzen, pharaoh mini, pyro, govad, ammit, troll, sapor, aromamizer supreme, billow v3. Haven't tried any of my rda's yet as I'm not planning on dripping. Some of them allows me to save the replay, but its erratic. Sometimes it lets me save, sometimes it won't. When it does, its far from doing what it suppose to. While saved in replay mode, it vapes cold, then all of a sudden I'll get severe burnt hits. The only one tank I get consistent vaping on in replay is the crown III. Somethings up as all the builds seem to work fine when I set up everything in normal temp control mode. Not sure what is going on.
  5. You were right it must be a bad resistance problem. Just tried a Uwell Crown III and it started working. Not sure if there is a problem however with the Paranormal itself. Between my Paranormal and Therion 75c there is almost .10 ohms difference while my 75c wasn't updated to have the Replay feature. Tried tightening my posts set screws super tight and Replay still doesn't work using the Digiflavor Themis, and the Pharoah Mini. Also I haven't yet seen .25 Uwell Coils reading .37 ohms on any device until now usually I see maybe +/- .03 at most. That seems pretty far off from what I'm used to seeing a difference at. Never had a problem with these two tanks or any rebuildable tanks under temp control before. Maybe the paranormal is either crap or just to finickey
  6. Hopefully someone can chime in, I seem to be having the same issues or even worst. I cant even "save puff" at all in replay mode. I'm using Lightning vapes 316l fused clapton dual coils 2x26 wrapped with 316l 36 gauge. "Save puff" doesn't display before, during, or after firing. Looked to see if there were any firmware updates, hard rebooted, tried different rta's still all the same results. Hope this isn't another gimick that doesn't work like some other manufacturers. Pretty frustrated at this point...
  7. Thanks much guys! The csv's I will definitely give it a go, and will also try and mess with coefficients I never knew what that was all about and still don't, but now at least I have a ball park of what to start with thanks again guys will report back after I dial things in.
  8. Thanks aonoukrain, that wire combination also crossed my mind, only thing that I was afraid of that I never had too much success in controlling the stainless steel wire types the vape always seemed a bit cold when vaping at least for me it was. I would have to pretty much have temp set at max to get the warmth that I was looking for. What is the settings that you use? I had mine set at 316l ss wire set at 50w with punch and preheat set to minimum. Think it was 0,0,1s something like that.
  9. Ahhh ok thanks guys for the information and explanation, guess I will try it tonight, hopefully the titanium tcr won't have to be manipulated
  10. So for temp control the kanthal won't affect the devices ability to regulate the temp for the titanium wire? Sorry not sure I fully understand the concept of mixing wires.
  11. I'd like to apologize in advance if this question has already been answered or if it's all together just dumb, but has anyone tried mixing titanium wire with say kanthal? I'm thinking of trying to fuse Clapton titanium wire but can't locally find higher gauge wires above 26 ga in titanium so was thinking of using kanthal for the outer wrap.
  12. What is the warranty on these DNA boards anyways? Or do they not have one at all? For what its worth, I loved these DNA's until I just popped the fuse tonight. It was all my fault though for accidently installing the batteries backwards. Then it got me thinking for how expensive these DNA devices are and how advanced they're suppose to be compared to others on the market, it's actually quite a huge step backward from a technological point of view. I mean I can't think of that many regulated mods, or even much electronic devices that don't have some kind of reverse polarity protection. And self repairing or sending it back to evolve for repair is a pain in the ass. Anyone have any ideas on a really great mod on the market? I love everything this chip is capable of, but not having reverse polarity while most other regulated mods do, for me puts the DNA chips at a level as not being any better. I hope that another company will release something promising, then I wouldn't feel so bad letting go of my other 4 without having regrets. Any ideas?
  13. Yeah, I think that was probably best. It kind of feels cheap, and being that it's "modular" it actually doesn't seem like much you can do with it except change the colors. Layout seems kind of restrictive, and quality just doesn't seem to be there. I expected it to more for a 200$ box. My other 4 Dna200 feels of higher quality although I could be wrong as I never went far into opening them up..
  14. I believe it's an xt30 connector it does get in the way a little bit and they could have possibly used something a little smaller, and I agree they could have used a larger battery, but width wise they isn't much space. I know they are if not already have an upgraded larger capacity battery.
  15. Just picked up one of these mods and have to say I'm not the least bit impressed with the overall design. I can't seem to understand why with all the space that is in there, they would cram everything at the upper most part of the mod. The main battery leads from the battery through the connector to board need to be muscled in to get the side panel to sit flush. Why use such large gauge wire only to get it the way of something that suppose to be modular? Coming from r/c helicopters my smaller speed controls have the same gauge and I would think that the helicopters use way more power and draw way more current than this mod. My other 3 DNA200's don't use battery leads this large why would cloudmaker do this? I think its quite stupid to cram electronics and smashing wires especially while using lipo batteries. I wouldn't recommend this mod to anyone. For 200 dollars I wish I bought something else.
  16. Not sure if this will help, but I had so much issues with titanium builds and there were several members of this forum who tried helping out and I really learned a lot about the device through their generousity of taking the time to help out. I have 3 of these DNa200 devices and they all were acting the same as far as the problems I had. In the end after hours and hours and 25ft of titanium wire going to waste, the last person I was in contact with gave me the best advice which was to upload the correct profiles and hard reboot the device. I been doing this since then when making changes. I'm sure people don't always have to do this but seems to work for me....
  17. Do you happen to have a different temp control mod? I could never get titanium builds to work right with this board from bright red glowing coils to burning cotton at low temperature. Some of it was on my error, but once the nice people on here helped me it got much better and vapable, but not quite ideal. Threw it on a different non Dna200 temp control device and its been working flawlessly. I still love the Dna's but been getting so tired of troubleshooting than vaping..
  18. This happened to me also, except mine happened on the 7th day of ownership. Ecigitty took care of mine with a replacement, even though I removed the panels. I felt that I was forced to since my efusion, even though completely dead the box became warm and well, a lot of us seen what lipo batteries are capable of. About half an hour before taking it back I reattached the battery and once I reached ecigitty, the gentleman grabbed it and immediately noticed it had got warm again and made the exchange. If you have your mind set on another Dna200 might I suggest a lavabox? Volcano has a 90 day warranty, at least thats what they told me when decided I really wanted one. I have since moved on from Dna200's for the time being and found something else that works much better for me at least. There are many on this forum that have the device working extremely well for them, but there seems to also be many with issues. And I'm surely one of them lol. I just come back every now and then to see if there are any new post or information that can help get both of my Dna200 set up correctly, these damn things are so figgity I had to really refrain myself from throwing them both against my brick wall.. I could never get Titanium builds to function correctly. But if you like to tinker or test your patience, these things are great.
  19. Wondering if wrong settings, or a particular type of setting can cause these things to pop fuses? Had a efusion Dna and that one turned completely off couldn't connect with Escribe got the message cannot detect usb device. Funny thing is mine started to get warm like was a short of some kind had to remove the lipo. Luckily mine happened 7 days from purchase so the store exchanged it for me.
  20. I been locking the ohms by pressing fire and down button while in locked mode and see the lock symbol next to the ohm readings. The device is an efusion dna200. What is the 25% you speak of? my ohms have always started at around .17 ohms and on occasions jumped to as high as .29 ohms while in the lock position. Sometimes it stays pretty close...it's an intermittent problem. On my smok xcube 2 though it always seems to remain consistent when swapping the whole deck...
  21. I have also locked in the ohms, and on a couple of occasions I noticed it drifted, almost .10 ohms even though it was in the locked position not sure what's going on with this device..
  22. Ok thanks Jentz, going to headover to the place I got the dna200 from and see what happens. Not to sure they know much about titanium wire temp control though they don't carry ti wires and didn't know much when I spoke to them before thanks for your help....and yes I'm using 26 ga. Wouldn't more wraps bring up the ohms?
  23. sorry with all my fussing around and numerous building in the last couple of days I'm confusing myself. I built up on 6 wrap 3.0 coils and 7 wrap on 2.5 coils and results are always red hot coils...sorry for the mix up....what is coil master pro? Btw I'm building on an aromamizer velocity deck.
  24. It's almost seems like my device in particular is having problems with the titanium settings, as my xcube 2 hasn't been glowing the coils when swapped.
  25. Thank you Jentz9517, I have that latest Escribe, and I tried both spaced and non spaced coils and they both get red hot when set at anything above 230 degrees like bright red hot. I've been reading forums all over the place and tutorials, and read that titanium should never be heated to that point is that correct?
