Thanks Pphish, will try and report in a few days.

That’s a good point I haven’t cleaned my 510 on the paranormal, so I’ll try that when I get home. I haven’t touched any settings since I got it except for adjusting wattage of course. How do you turn on/off the temp sensing coils option directly from the mod? Went searching in the menu but couldn’t find an option for that under the replay profile. The crown 3 I’m not sure if the replay is working properly as I haven’t tried to vape till it dries yet but strangely I just tried my vaporesso in wattage profile and the ohms read very close to what the coils are spec’d at .16 ohms as it’s rated at .15 where the crown was almost .12 off.

Did you have to play around with any setting in the paranormal? I have this exact rta and mod, but replay is very erratic and hasn't been working for me. Any suggestions? BTW I double checked post screws and everything else I can think of, which didn't help anything.

I haven't yet tested out all my atomizers across all of my mods or used the atomizer analyzer yet. I'll check through all of that first chance I get. I'm starting to get the feeling that either the paranormal has an issue or perhaps the lightning vapes 316l wire is making things get wonky. I did testing on most of my rta's although using the same wire from the same spools fused 28ga wrapped with 36ga wire. The dual coils seem about right at .21 ohms 2.5 mm 6.5 wrap. Tried the replay on the themis, kylin, blitzen, pharaoh mini, pyro, govad, ammit, troll, sapor, aromamizer supreme, billow v3. Haven't tried any of my rda's yet as I'm not planning on dripping. Some of them allows me to save the replay, but its erratic. Sometimes it lets me save, sometimes it won't. When it does, its far from doing what it suppose to. While saved in replay mode, it vapes cold, then all of a sudden I'll get severe burnt hits. The only one tank I get consistent vaping on in replay is the crown III. Somethings up as all the builds seem to work fine when I set up everything in normal temp control mode. Not sure what is going on.

You were right it must be a bad resistance problem. Just tried a Uwell Crown III and it started working. Not sure if there is a problem however with the Paranormal itself. Between my Paranormal and Therion 75c there is almost .10 ohms difference while my 75c wasn't updated to have the Replay feature. Tried tightening my posts set screws super tight and Replay still doesn't work using the Digiflavor Themis, and the Pharoah Mini. Also I haven't yet seen .25 Uwell Coils reading .37 ohms on any device until now usually I see maybe +/- .03 at most. That seems pretty far off from what I'm used to seeing a difference at. Never had a problem with these two tanks or any rebuildable tanks under temp control before. Maybe the paranormal is either crap or just to finickey

Hopefully someone can chime in, I seem to be having the same issues or even worst. I cant even "save puff" at all in replay mode. I'm using Lightning vapes 316l fused clapton dual coils 2x26 wrapped with 316l 36 gauge. "Save puff" doesn't display before, during, or after firing. Looked to see if there were any firmware updates, hard rebooted, tried different rta's still all the same results. Hope this isn't another gimick that doesn't work like some other manufacturers. Pretty frustrated at this point...

Thanks much guys! The csv's I will definitely give it a go, and will also try and mess with coefficients I never knew what that was all about and still don't, but now at least I have a ball park of what to start with thanks again guys will report back after I dial things in.

Thanks aonoukrain, that wire combination also crossed my mind, only thing that I was afraid of that I never had too much success in controlling the stainless steel wire types the vape always seemed a bit cold when vaping at least for me it was. I would have to pretty much have temp set at max to get the warmth that I was looking for. What is the settings that you use? I had mine set at 316l ss wire set at 50w with punch and preheat set to minimum. Think it was 0,0,1s something like that.

Ahhh ok thanks guys for the information and explanation, guess I will try it tonight, hopefully the titanium tcr won't have to be manipulated

So for temp control the kanthal won't affect the devices ability to regulate the temp for the titanium wire? Sorry not sure I fully understand the concept of mixing wires.
-
I'd like to apologize in advance if this question has already been answered or if it's all together just dumb, but has anyone tried mixing titanium wire with say kanthal? I'm thinking of trying to fuse Clapton titanium wire but can't locally find higher gauge wires above 26 ga in titanium so was thinking of using kanthal for the outer wrap.

Fuse Blown.... Any Alternate

What is the warranty on these DNA boards anyways? Or do they not have one at all? For what its worth, I loved these DNA's until I just popped the fuse tonight. It was all my fault though for accidently installing the batteries backwards. Then it got me thinking for how expensive these DNA devices are and how advanced they're suppose to be compared to others on the market, it's actually quite a huge step backward from a technological point of view. I mean I can't think of that many regulated mods, or even much electronic devices that don't have some kind of reverse polarity protection. And self repairing or sending it back to evolve for repair is a pain in the ass. Anyone have any ideas on a really great mod on the market? I love everything this chip is capable of, but not having reverse polarity while most other regulated mods do, for me puts the DNA chips at a level as not being any better. I hope that another company will release something promising, then I wouldn't feel so bad letting go of my other 4 without having regrets. Any ideas? -
Thoughts on DNA200 whiteout by cloudmaker technologies anyone?

Yeah, I think that was probably best. It kind of feels cheap, and being that it's "modular" it actually doesn't seem like much you can do with it except change the colors. Layout seems kind of restrictive, and quality just doesn't seem to be there. I expected it to more for a 200$ box. My other 4 Dna200 feels of higher quality although I could be wrong as I never went far into opening them up.. -

I believe it's an xt30 connector it does get in the way a little bit and they could have possibly used something a little smaller, and I agree they could have used a larger battery, but width wise they isn't much space. I know they are if not already have an upgraded larger capacity battery. -

Just picked up one of these mods and have to say I'm not the least bit impressed with the overall design. I can't seem to understand why with all the space that is in there, they would cram everything at the upper most part of the mod. The main battery leads from the battery through the connector to board need to be muscled in to get the side panel to sit flush. Why use such large gauge wire only to get it the way of something that suppose to be modular? Coming from r/c helicopters my smaller speed controls have the same gauge and I would think that the helicopters use way more power and draw way more current than this mod. My other 3 DNA200's don't use battery leads this large why would cloudmaker do this? I think its quite stupid to cram electronics and smashing wires especially while using lipo batteries. I wouldn't recommend this mod to anyone. For 200 dollars I wish I bought something else.
