Thanks @ChunkyButt200 now I know why, I feel better haha

If you completely turn off the iPhone before charging, it will turn back on when you plug it into the charger. If its on when you plug it in to charge, the battery symbol at the top right corner will turn green to indicate its charging. Additionally the lock screen will show the battery percentage followed by the word "charged" under the clock. I get none of the above when using power bank OTG to charge my iPhone with a frequently used lightning cable and an alternate tested and working lightning cable After setting up a screen with a toggle for each the mod shows it is connected and discharging AUTOMATIC POWER BANK MODE ENABLED BATTERY DISCHARGING ( POWER BANK) CONNECTED AS POWER BANK

Set up a page for OTG Power Bank with all the toggles and info I could see to use I can charge a power bank using micro USB but not charge my iPhone using a cable that I regularly use to charge that. This tells me the OTG adapter is working. Maybe it's the current level from the mod that is the problem?

I would like to use the power bank function with my mod as it has massive lipo haha I've tried using auto in the display tab with no success Using a toggle does not activate the power bank function on mine I do not know how to configure a screen dedicated to the function yet I have been using a newly bought USB OTG to USB 2.0 adapter and a tested micro USB cable that charges this DNA250 colour @ 2amps Escribe Version: 2.0 SP15.1 on a MacBook Any advice would be much appreciated USB On-The-Go The DNA 250C supports USB On-The-Go. An OTG adapter may be plugged into the Micro USB port on the device to charge any other device capable of charging via USB. By default OTG charging must be toggled on manually from the device. OTG charging can be configured to begin automatically using the Power Bank option in EScribe on the Display tab. OTG charging will not over-drain the DNA 250C.

Hello @ChunkyButt200 Your explanation makes total sense and is very helpful. Knowing buck only topology draws 32amps max is good to know. I will monitor higher wattage levels and see what's what. Thanks for the quick response

I have a couple of questions regarding Lipo pack settings for my DNA250C mod I have calculated that the Turnigy nano-tech 2200 mAh 4s lipo which states 25c constant 50c burst as 2200*25 /1000= 55amps and 80% of that = 44amps I'm using 45 amps for my max sustained output current and 55amps for Max peak current Is this too cautious? Max peak input and max sustained input I would like advice on what to set these as well please

My device turns on after Case Analysis I still do not know why the first Analysis gave those numbers, maybe the new lipo reaching proper balanced state as cell 3 was not in line with 1,2 and 4 at first, It was balance when I ran the first analysis though 1 amp from my Macbook Nothing else thank you

No suggestion from Escribe about the mods case static temperature rise this time It's been interesting
-
Good you are back Yes I'm on that version as well
-
All tests have taken place in the same position in the same room I'm going to run it again with the door on at 50% charge and see what I get this time
-
Case thermals run again no door 50% charge 71.5℉ Turnigy nano-tech 2200mah 4S 25~50C Lipo Pack Spec. Capacity:2200mAh Voltage: 4S1P / 4 Cell / 14.8V Discharge: 25C Constant / 50C Burst Weight: 218g (including wire, plug & case) Dimensions: 100x35x30mm

Hello Battery was @ 25% Temp reading taken from a thermometer in the room with an out probe positioned to give 2 readings Yes I will run it again with the door off Do you think it's the enclosure and lipo size?

I have run case thermals for this mod and Escribe suggests this It was left overnight to reach ambient temperature before running case thermals Internal resistance has been measured @ 0.005Ω New Turnigy nano-tech 2200mah 4S 25~50C Lipo Pack Any advice would be appreciated thanks

I have run case thermals for this mod I built 3 times and twice I have been given this warning. It was left overnight to reach ambient temperature before running case thermals Internal resistance has been measured @ 0.005Ω New Turnigy nano-tech 2200mah 4S 25~50C Lipo Pack Are the dimensions of the mod enclosure resulting in these figures and warning? It is quite large and made from billet aluminium. Any ideas would be appreciated thanks
