They were requesting info on LG HG2's...nothing to do with your pinks...

Yeah that much I understood, I like to help as much as I can. I can't give computer testing specifics and results but from personal experience on the hg2's I can definitely give my user experience if helps at all. The lg's browns been one of the best imo... the pink Brillipowers 18650 I'm not happy with at all. Run hot, battery life isn't the greatest definitely not 3500mah more like a 3000mah maybe even 2600mah. Excessive voltage drop under load but it's seems to be the same from 40 watts and even at 75 watts. Not thru escribe yet just tested out in single cell configuration in the dna 75. I'm goin off how much the screen dims down under initial puff press of fire button. The screen dims down the same amount at 40 watts and 75 watts. With the lg same mod, coil watts absolutely no dimming of screen during any part of the puff. All is I know when I see my screen dim down like that when my battery is fully charged it's telling me my battery can't supply enough power to the screen under load from takn puff which in turn is from not enough amps in the battery itself. When I seen that I hit up the phone Internet to order some better cells. Who knows maybe I can get my $28 back. Now the green 26650 Brillipowers is amazing. Power and runtime for days, full day & half on full charge @ 40 watts vapn thru 10 ml a day 24 guage kernal 32 guage wrap single ss clapton coil 3.5mm I'd Aromamizer plus rdta.
  2. Quick question on the escribe stock settings for the triade dna 250. Won't be able to get to a computer till this weekend, I've only had the mod for a day now so I haven't had the chance to escribe it yet. I'm using 3 3500mah 30 amp cells, battery guage seems accurate but does anybody know the stock settings on this device as far as do I need to adjust the battery capacity setting and or the charge current setting to get the best possible battery life and fastest charge output. Out of around like 11 dna mods this is my first dna mod with balance charging and monitoring, the rest are dna 40's and a dna 75 which is a single cell conversion. Thanks in advance for your time!

You have one set of displays for 'Temp' normal & one for 'Temp' charging...one for 'Power' normal & one for 'Power' charging...You only have 3 'fields' that are settable....By setting the profile name as one of the fields, it will change from profile to profile...The 75 can be set up this way as well...

I'm using a brand new triade never seen escribe yet. All I've vaped is ss clapton coil so far. When I vape in profile #3 which is the ss profile preset it don't show the ohms, instead it shows the chargING current while vaping which of course shows 0.00A... soon as I switch to another profile say nickel or watts it than shows the ohms again in upper left. On my dna 75 once you set ohms it stays in power mode, or changeable in temp or charging like you've stated. Seems this is able to change between different materials while still in temp mode.

Fresh out of the box lost vape triade dna 250 from element vape not working in temperature control mode with SS316L. Haven't tried ni200 yet. Also seems to have some of the worst basic settings setup you can have on the dna as of this moment. My main concern is the SS316L. I haven't been able to plug into escribe software yet as I just got this mod today. Wife lost power cord for our new laptop during the move so I have to go to parents house to use escribe for the meantime. Would an update from escribe help my problem "service pak update" or do I need to start from scratch with csv files from steam engine? I bought the vt75 last year hcigar and its perfect with stainless, I did do updates in escribe on it before trying the ss316 so I'm not sure if that did the trick or the vt75 was good from the get. Thanks for the help...

EDIT: think I got it!! Seems when temp modes kicked in on 316L the screen values goes from ohms to usb charge current and the temperature value goes to last wattage during last puff. Like I said the triade from elementvape has some janky settings out of the box.. a whole start from scratch mod is what I got.
  5. Is the dna 250 able to display different screen profile names for each 8 user profiles or is it set the same for power mode, temperature mode, and charging mode. The dna 75 when you set ohms and your max temp and your battery% it stays the same for each 8 user profiles. Seems the dna 250 let's you change it up between all 8 and not just for the 3 main screen modes, the power mode screen the temperature mode screen and the charging screen. Sorry this the best I can explain it. Just got the mod haven't been able to use escribe yet.

is sony than truly back to manufacturing batteries. If so it makes you think if they ever did stop production in the first place. Yeah I seen sonys email to us vapers couple years back. Wasn't to long before that my local vape shop suggested I buy some of there last true shipment of vtc5's, which I'm still vapn on.

well if they turn out to not be the best than they should at least do good in the triade considering there sharing load in a 3 cell configuration. Appreciate your time and input my friend.. vape on!!

hey if they make you happy and more importantly, they work well in the device, then happy vaping. you might want to shoot Battery Mooch a PM over at ECF and ask him exactly what cell is underneath that pink wrapper. as for brillpower cells being made for specifically for vaping, that's just a marketing ploy. there are NO cells on the market today designed for vaping. most work fine in our mods but they were mainly intended for use inside cordless power tools and electric vehicles. Sony has already stated they don't want any of their cells being used for vaping and will refuse sale to a distributor if found they are selling them for that purpose.

I seen this before I bought the 26650 and from what I understood it rated in the top 5 rite next to the Basens 26650. I knew before reading this the 80 amp advertising was more than likely an exaggeration as most true cells are 30 amps. Thank you for the input!

i would stay away from rewraps. stick with LG, Samsung or Sony cells. at least you know you can trust the specs considering they actually made the cells. if you only vape between 40-60w, i would look at the LG HG2 or Samsung 30Q cells, both are 3000 mah and around 20a CDR. if you're willing to overpay for the Brillpower name (because that's all your paying extra for, is a name. the Brillpower pink 18650 2600 mah is most likely a LG or Samsung cell underneath the wrap), then i would suggest the Sony VTC6 cells, 3000 mah 20a CDR. i use the VTC6 cells in my Vt167.

I went with the pink Brillipowers @ 4 for $28... I know I know!! Anyways if they don't compare to the greens than I'll pick up some vtc6's. I was still under the impression sony energy was done with the 18650 game, bro I kinda knew that wasn't gonna last as they were the industry leader in batteries amongst other things. Also were in the hell can I find a csv for the pinks. Nobody uses them yet probably as they are new, they also just released a blue version 18650... I know I feel ya on batteries other than sony, lg, panasonic but on a whim I tried 1 and "as of now" I'm a believer....

yeah I still got vtc5's from before the scarce 1 new and 4 used and 2 new lg hg2 and 3 used. Those are my only 2 batteries I ever use. I just wanted to try something new change of pace I guess since I just got a green 26650 brillpower and like I was saying it gets me thru a whole day of 40 watt vaping with about %20 leftover. I was amazed at it ya know! Appreciate the output bro... vape on!!

I thought the brillpowers were made specifically for vapn and not an actual rewrap like all the others? Even though it's only been a week since buying there 26650 version for my dna 75 against my HG2'S and my vtc5's I'm damned impressed. All day 40 watt vaping with no battery sag at all and about 15 hours vapetime with 20% remaining. the others poop out around 6 hours...

  13. Just ordered a carbon fiber triade dna 250 and lookn to buy the pink or the green Brillipower 18650's. I just got the green brillpower 26650 for the dna 75 and am really impressed with the runtime at 40 watts. I'm lookn for more runtime than amps I guess since I only vape around 40 to 60 watts stainless steel clapton single coil in my aromamizer plus rdta, around 0.38 ohms! Any suggestions on batteries I'm lookn to order today. I like my runtime and my high amps incase I need the extra power. Any 18650 suggestions helpful or thoughts on the pink vs green brillpowers.. Thanks dna fam!!

  14. Yes. Definitely check ground straps "wire" make sure the threaded part of your 510 connector is tight in the mod as that completes your ground path. I had that problem in 1 of my hana v4's where I even swapped out the dna board and still had the same problem and by dumb luck I happened to tighten even though it felt tight the 510 connector in the mod and after days of crap it solved the problem completely. Even make sure the wiring to the board is all soldered nice, no loose solder joints. I can't think of much more except for making sure battery connections are tight but that usually don't cause that problem. Goodluck and may the vape gods be with you!

  15. As you read above this is of topic but can anyone point me in the direction to where I can find a driptip preferably one of those widebore custom marbleized acrylic driptips that will fit my aromamizer plus rdta. I've tried the widebore tips from my gemini rta and even my calypso rdta and even those are widebore and look almost same size outter diameter there smaller with orings. The aromamizer plus has a pressure fit widebore driptip that's all its own size aparantly. Thanks for the help in advanced.

  16. If it could ever be possible I would very much like to see the escribe software ran on a android platform. Plug and play your mod thru your favorite android device for quick systems tweak on the fly. Whether it be the full escribe experience or even the main basic settings for now I think this idea would further help the dna board dominate the mod industry. Maybe I should patent this idea before I post this huh. Lol

  17. Try this again! Hopefully this one makes it to the dna 75 forum and not the 200! Anyways I'll make it short as possible with pics. The mod is a hcigar vt75 about 3 weeks old. I own something like 13 mods all hana modz except this one, using the dna board since the dna 20 days so I'm no stranger to it but new to escribe so for now I kept everything basic as far as changing settings and such. Changed screen settings, brightness, screen orientation, name of the profiles, preheat and preheat time settings, downloaded evolvs latest service pak "firmware update" and so on. For some reason if I use the full 5 allowed characters for the main screens profile name in any of the 3 giving fields I get the far left character over or underlapping the battery icon. So If say I use the full 5 but one of the characters is a "I" it won't experience this problem, since the letter is more straight up and down and doesn't use up so much horizontal space. Any other characters it's like there's not enough room and there getting scrunched together and being forced to overlap the battery icon even though I'm only using the 5 that are allowed. Think a picture here will better explain the situation, and thanks for any feedback on this issue people! Have a great holiday DNA family!!! Edit: the bottom field. Profile name "MPKLR" if i use "IMPKL" or anything with and I or maybe an L I don't get the issue....
