1. I like the clean screwless look. I'm putting a fab of epoxy under the battery. You could just put a dab on each side of the door if you don't want to use the magnets and don't plan on changing the battery until it dies. Wouldn't be too hard to pry open again.
2. http://www.modmaker.co.uk/Mod-Making-Supplies/Enclosures/ModMakerBox-1005024-Natural-Aluminium. They come polished. Don't forget the magnets. They are sold out of the 2mm magnets so I bought the 1mm ones and doubled them up.
3. Ric Groves cases of modmaker UK. Don't buy them all because I want a few more.
4. Just semi finished this one. Inside needs tidying up so no pics of that yet. How do you guys go about cutting out the USB port? I can never get it anywhere near right
5. This is a test enclosure I posted. I have since lowered the window to make management of the ribbon easier, but you still have to sand the buttons due to variations in printing...they need to fit tight so there is no deflection. Can you tell me how the snap enclosure on the back worked?
Thanks for the design. The back panel did not come out too good but I put that down to the cheapo printer. It was too wide by 5mm and a hair too long. I just dremelled it down a bit and it wedges in there. The screen did need lowering as I had to bend it back on itself twice to line it up without encroaching on the fire button.
6. It's a 1400mah. Just about get a full day out of it.
7. I saw that on shapeways and thingiverse. That blueridge guy made it. What size lipo goes in it?
8. Try that again.. http://imgur.com/09QXypi
9. Printed this one I found on the web. The buttons needed sanding down a bit but apart from that perfect fit. 1400mah lipo, FDV low profile 510. Broke my ribbon cable as i have sausage fingers but it worked perfectly before that. Thanks to whoever designed it. I did have it in an ipv3 case with the button holes filled with chemical metal then re-drilled but my bayttery was too big. http://imgur.com/uQBQI3S http://imgur.com/zyoKuKL
