8bit Posted January 1 Report Posted January 1 I've tried multiple cords, USB ports, battery in and out, multiple versions of escribe, with and without the driver. The battery charges when plugged in but I can't seem to get it to connect. What else can I do here? I would love to flip my screen in the software as it is upside down! The charging port is the micro USB version, data and power wires connected.
dwcraig1 Posted January 1 Report Posted January 1 Is the USB port on the mod recessed more than normal? There have been reports of the USB plug not being able to go in the port far enough on some 3d printed mods to connect. What mod are you using? 1
8bit Posted January 1 Author Report Posted January 1 (edited) No it's inserted fully. It's a custom built mod made from a Wiimote. This is an older picture with a DNA40 chip, I recently upgraded to a DNA60 but there's no button combo to flip the screen like I had it here. Edited January 1 by 8bit
dwcraig1 Posted January 1 Report Posted January 1 So what charger board did you use? If other than an Evolv charger board is used a resistor must be added to it.
dwcraig1 Posted January 1 Report Posted January 1 I'm thinking that you already have this but here is the pinout for DNA60. Double check that 13 and 14 aren't reversed.
8bit Posted January 2 Author Report Posted January 2 So I didn't connect pin 15 because I thought it was only required for non Evolv boards. After connecting it works now! Silly me. 1
