TermsOfUse
Hi guys, I have a serious problem and I don't know how to fix it. I was performing an update on my DNA 60 billet box and it failed half way through. Now my mod will not turn on, light up, or vape. It will not show up in escribe and the only thing that happens is a small led next to the usb turns on when I plug it in. Is there anything I can do to fix the mod or is it bricked? Please help! Spector NS5 RD
If the upload process gets interrupted, I'm pretty sure you can un brick the device. If you open up EScribe, "Tools" ........ "Apply Service Pack"......... then select the firmware appropriate for the board. If the board is detected the update should force it's way through. I would use a different USB cable. Given the most likely reason for the disconnect during a FW update is a faulty USB cable. The DNA 60 hasn't had an update for quite some time. What firmware were you updating to? What is the current FW on the device?
TermsOfUse
I just tried to apply the service pack and it did not work. This is the info the dialogue box gave back to me: See the end of this message for details on invoking just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box. ************** Exception Text TermsOfUse
Okay guys i figured it out. Using a USB 3.0 port was the issue. I tried to fix the mod all last night and was unable to do a thing to it. Wake up this morning, try switching it over to a USB 2.0 port and boom, service pack applied without a hitch and now my device is back to its usual self.
