ecigprofile and ecig Difference

What's the Difference between ecigprofile and ecig.  I know profile includes profiles but what else EXACTLY does it do.  Is it in the manual?

 

I wish EScribe had more help in the program.  Like a pop up when you hover over an option telling you what it does.
