Uploading images

Do tou believe that uploading images to the DNA, images .jpeg, could junk the chip?

The question is based in my experience: I had one Finder 167 and after I uploaded images I've made, it cracked, with the batteries error. No way to fix it.

Not only the soft one but even the hard reset! Nothing changed! The chip was dead!
