Cehpalomods
Hi ya'll!I was curious as to why the wires used on the battery have a maximum of 16 gauge. It seems like theoretically anything lower than 20 gauge should work.wondering if there's something I'm not taking into account. Cehpalomods
Sorry, I think I didn't phrase that right.I mean why can't I use 14 gauge or 12 gauge?
mikepetro
You certainly "could", electrically it wouldnt matter. It is just a space and flexibility issue for most Modders. Just be careful not bridge the "vias" next to B+ with any solder, as they are part of the charger circuitry.
combatwombat
My battery has 16 gauge xt30 female, could I use 18 gauge from board to xt30 male to connect to 16 gauge connector? Just making sure...
