Unfortunately I am at my wits end trying to get this puppy to charge. In device manager my cells read 1.86, 1.40 and .96 i left it on a 1.35A charger last night and thats all the charge I have. Hoping you guys might have a solution for me since Hanas RMA process is crazy. Thanks in advance everybody!!
scoopy
Probably your ground wire....If you read all the posts about the Hanas on here you'll see that there plagued with this problem........I would try to RMA it with Hana or wherever u got it first.....If you have no luck there open up the case.........you will need to solder a wire from the ground tab on the top of the board to the outside of the 510 inside the case....or in between the threads of the 510 and case.... .u may have to take the 510 out and clean off the anodising on the threads of the case where the 510 goes.....that's why the Hanas aren't getting a good ground usually is from the anodising
James
How did your cells get so low?If the cells get that low (below 2V), you'll need to select Perform USB Recovery Charging in Device Monitor.
Daniel1987
Even with the cells are able to be recovered, the likelihood of the battery pack retaining the same capacity you had previously seen would be very slim. It is not something I would recommend charging back up as they is a chance the battery pack may start to swell even at that slow of a charge. RMA would be the best course of action for a battery pack in this state.
