jrfhoutx
Not sure if this would be the right place to ask this, so if it's not, admins feel free to move it. I've seen some builds where the battery butts up against the threaded portion of the 510 connector, is this an issue or not? I ask because I'm finishing up one of my builds and the battery I'm using butts up against and touches this portion of the 510, and I wasn't sure if it's a problem I should be concerned about or not. I guess my concern initially was heat on the 510 up against the battery, but I see squonkers with plastic parts connected to the 510 and they don't seem to have melting issues or anything, so I figured I'd ask around here before I button everything up. scoopy
It shouldn't be a problem just butting against the threads but could be if the lipo pack is directly under the spring loaded pin and could cause a disastrous puncture to the lipo pack......I think u should be OK if this is the case.....If Evolv our anyone else could chime in on the heat issue please correct me
