Rocky
Hey! So I'm gunna be running a Turnigy 2200mAh 40C lipo to power my DNA 200 and wanted to know if it will be safe even if one of my friends decides to fire it up to 200W... Is firing on max wattage with a low resistance coil a cause for concern with such a battery?

Not a concern, the board will protect itself against over current/voltage etc. It is rated to handle the full 200w....
Rocky
Thanks! Not too worried about the board as much as I am about the battery venting though....granted with a max draw of 88A there's no way I could overstress the battery even running 200W at low resistance unless I'm missing something, right? mikepetro
Nope, not missing anything. Unless..... you physically puncture the battery.
Dampmaskin
The DNA 200 draws max 23A from the battery, IIRC.
