nokternol
Hello, I am new to DNA devices.I have bought a Lost Triade DNA250, Wismec Reuleaux DNA 200 and HCigar VT250 to try them all. Sold the Wismec and HCigar on to friends as the Triade won for me.More recently I have tried my hand to customizing the theme. Looking at themes/screens that have been generated by people on this forum and on the internet I am confused by my results.I am unable to keep any form of grey/feathering in the pixel data. It is transformed to either black or white which allows for far less detail than has been seen in the custom screens in the aforementioned places.I have attached an example of someone else's theme and the most recent one I started building. Can someone explain what I am doing wrong or what I need to change to get the desired result?
giz_60
Monochrome screen...Looks proper in Escribe with a color monitor...will do the same thing if you try to use color as well...
nokternol
I understand that the screen is monochrome which is why I have not used color but shouldn't monochrome allow for grays? If it doesn't allow for grays why do so many custom screens have grays in them if they cannot be displayed? giz_60
Gray is a mixture of black & white...a color...just because there is gray in a screen someone generated, doesn't mean it is going to display gray on the screen...monochrome...black & white...you can either have a black background with white lettering and/or images...or white background with black lettering and/or images
nokternol
So the images I have been showing do not display that way on anyone's mods. That makes me feel better by why make custom screens that you cannot use?
