  1. oh and fyi, incase it wasn't clear, i don't intend to get rid of the usb on the board that is used for charge n data, I just wanna splice into the pins so it would be like a double adapter where the addon part will goto pogo connector to dock
  2. yea, I know there's a bms onboard, that's why i was thinking of leaving the existing micro usb on the board and just soldering wires to the the existing connections from the onboard micro usb, so wouldn't need a new bms... what I need to know is what each of the micro usb pins are for, and what do I need to do to go from those spliced in wires to a female usbc socket while maintaining charging, data amd usb on-the-go... a wiring diagram if anyone could do one up or link to me would be very appreciated. being new, the electronics can get a little daunting and I dont always know what I'm looking for in pinout diagrams or what other info to find in a manual. cherrz
  3. hey, building my first dna mod and I'm 3d printing an enclosure and I'd like to make a dock for it that can do charge and data..... I was thinking a magnetic connector at the base of the mod(like the one in the image) would anyone be able to help me out ad far as a wiring diagram to tap into the usb already on the board so? also would it be possible put usbc as the plug on the back of the dock? if I can I'd really appreciate a wiring diagram for in the dock to go from the magnetic connection that links to the mod and the female socket on the back of the dock I'm sussing ita pretty simple, but im new to electronics and don't wanna see the magic smoke if possible... thanks :)
