  1. The larger display is a 0.9" while the longer one is a 0,96" but both of them are 160x80px so they both work. The 0,9" is nowadays very "rare", i suppose it's and "abandoned" format since the 0,96" can be found everywhere on Aliexpress and at very cheap prices. I have found the 0.9" from a chinese factory on Alibaba, cheap as well but shipment cost are a little high so, for my VTBOX250C i choose the 0,96 and it works.
  2. Update. The screen was successfully replaced, but i have the inverted color issue. I tried to find a solution but all the possible options doesn't solve anything. Tried to find the screen options in "mechanical" but even installing the oldest firmware and then the others non screen option appears in mechanical tab. Any help? The background should be black, but there's no way even with the default theme.
  3. evolv specs are for sure like you say, probably brands choose different parts. On the left of the picture a display for a Lost Vape Dna100c. On the right the VTbox250c damaged display. I will try to use the 0,96 instead of the 0,9, but if someone has found the right one i still wait for help.
  4. Thank you very much, but i'm looking for something cheaper, i've bought 3 dna100 screens for less than 10$ (8€, i'm from italy) shipment included
  5. Hi guys, Does anyone found a replacement and can help me finding it? I'm trying on Aliexpress where i've successfully found the right display for DNA100C, but i can't find it. This is a 0.9 Inches 80x160px 8pin 158x270mm Thanks for your help
  6. Unfortunately seems that soldering again all the pins don't solve the problem, i'm going to check again. Anyway, the box was opened and a fixing attempt was done by someone else since the yellow protective plastic film and a screw were missing. At this point the real problem could be the charge chip, i've read that a malfunctioning is a "common" issue. I'll keep you updated.
  7. The one with the worst soldering...
  8. My compliments dwcraig1... look at this mess... removed the board 10 seconds ago...i hope resoldering will solve the issue.
  9. Ok, i'm trying a USB charging recovery to see what happens... Anyway, i ask you this, the external charger uses the balance connector, and at the end of the process the battery is 12.60V with no fluctuations. So the three cells are 4.2V and it means that the charger works; so why the board recognize the battery as imbalanced? The previous mod (DNA 250 as well) did recognize the battery perfectly balanced and with no issues. Thank you for your time
  10. I had a DNA 250 With the 3 cells lipo you see in that picture and it was working correctly. Than it shuts off while i was vaping in my car for no reason, and don't turn on again. Fried circuit. I have bought another one, without battery, i plug my battery and the behaviour it's shown in the screen i've uploaded some posts before. I have another battery, brand new, never used and i tried that one too, same behaviour. Basically if i set 3 cells Lithium Polymer battery, the third cell goes crazy as shown in the escribe graphs, i'm unable to charge the battery with the cable, the charge indicator shows 0% constantly, if i set 2 cells everything works correctly.
  11. Thanks Bill but i've understood! Infact i put the ground on the black cable soldering on the board, the positive on the red cable soldering and then i push the box on the table to fire. I don't know what he means with A plug so i upload the picture to show the connections. Clear enough?
  12. What do ou mean exactly with A plug?
  13. 12.25V Firing a double fralien 0.11Ohm 40W
  14. 12,50V - 99% charge (2cells set) Battery should not be the problem, unfortunately...
  15. Hi Bill, Lipo balance plug is connected to the board, the battery is set to Lithyum Polimer 3s with the correct parameters. It's a 3 cells battery, Fun Fly 1300mah 3s 100c 14,43wh 11.1V Same settings used in my previous DNA250 mod that worked perfectly until it failed.
