  1. hey!, thanks for getting in touch, The problem i was having was between step 3 and step 4. as the 'not puff saved' would never turn over to the blue 'save last puff' option, so i couldn't select it at all, it would just jump from action centre/daylight mode straight to the flame icon. was really frustrating, because i knew i needed to save the puff, just the mod wouldn't let me. But I managed to get it to stop doing it, by changing my Escribe over to manufacturer mode (7 clicks about us tab, also seems to work in theme designer to add more indepth/dev options. like max power limit, which to me hints you can push it past 400w, though not sure how comfortable id be doing that, overclocking the board might just pop it) and changing how the replay puff detection sensitivity worked (basically put it into high noise mode allowing it to detect the 0.07 ohm change id get when taking a toke.) but after pushing that update, literally the first toke after that and bang. working great. so i'm more than happy. mostly cos i dont need to sit down with my coily tool and make some new coils, as i made a ton of them when i ordered my mod so i could have fresh coils in all my tanks, maybe if id have gone for just one metal rather than a mix of Kanthal and SS316 for my claptons, wouldnt have been having this headache. or could be something to do with double coils. dunno, maybe it was just doing that tech thing and not working till you have a whinge about it, then it works absolutely fine just to make you look silly after asking for help. But yeah, its fantastic now, currently have a aromamizer supreme V3 on top with a single beefy coil in it, set to 35W with a 25W 2 second preheat, and it works great, can just about feel how it feathers the power near the end of the toke (which is nice, as normally by the time I'm done with my toke i usually have to let off the power a second early and keep inhaling to stop condensation in my longer drip tips, in replay mode with the punch and warm settings i'm using don't have to do that, can finish my toke then release the button and get a whole lot less condensation in my 65mm pipe stem) Though will say, Many thanks for the theme, i really like it. though made a few minor personal tweaks to it (repositioned the lock screen and deleted the picture. added date and time to lock screen, put my username on the lockscreen, swapped the main screen white battery icon out for a percentage (doesn't look as neat, but a lot more info than the ranges that the battery bar has) and just sat having a think what else i might like to add to it) I'll pop up a short review on your theme page after i've had some breakfast
  2. Hi Bill, Got to the bottom of it. apparently, because of how stable the resistance of my coils are, the ohms only fluctuated by 0.07 while heating, interestingly went into E-scribe and unlocked the power user mode (open the about escribe tab, click on the logo on the about popup 7 times, should disappear and open up some extra options) handily this allowed me to tinker with a hidden option (least according to the guide i was following) which let me select if i wanted replay for all coils, by increasing the sensitivity of the devices sampling when it comes to resistance (according to escribe at least) tried the 'allow dubious coils first as that was a better supported option, but got no dice. So just enabled replay for all coil types, screwed my titan V2 on, fired it and presto. finally 'click to save puff' became togglable allowing me to flick replay on for the coils im using. which is handy, as when i ordered my new mod, sat down and built about 30 5.5mm clapton coils and fitted them in all my steam crave stuff, so got one with mesh to rebuild still (was gonna be my plan to trouble shoot why it wasn't working) but everything else has these beefy 5.5mm 0.6 ohm coils (most tanks sized ragnar and above, ive got 2 in, so that might be why replay was throwing a tantrum, i dunno what its specs are, but it really didn't like my 5.5mm claptons, well till i flicked that dev option to tell it to do its job) honestly not seeing a huge buff in performance with it on, but the consistency is nice, especially with those super chunky wicks that keep up at 250w chain vaping. and considering consistency was what was promised i have no complaints. thanks for the help. if there's a like or karma system on the forum just let me know how to use it and ill drop you some rep. TL:DR: enable dev options in escribe, goto mod>safety>replay set it to allow on unlikely (all) coils. job done works great!
  3. thanks for the info, there is a difference if i crank the bar i can access when turning replay on, but ive still not found anyway to actually save that puff, cant highlight the text that is supposed to show up, and according to the theme editor, it would just lock the device anyways, as thats the action set to it. and i cant find anything to tell the device my last puff is what i want to set. there is some newest, next and prev puff, in the recording section when i click on the replay text (in the theme editor, not the mod. still cant get that text to highlight on the mod, regardless of what combos of boost, warm and material i've got it set to.) thank you for the confirmation that it should be working with pretty much everything. that means there's a setting, or something wrong with the theme that needs addressing. might try installing the stock HOG firmware and seeing if i can get replay working on that, if i can, might be able to see where i'm going wrong on this custom theme. but its bedtime now, so gonna take a nap, see if i get any more info to go on, then sit down for round two when I'm not yawning and getting frustrated with it.
  4. Greetings all! Ok, so i recently bought a Hammer of god device and found the installed theme a little hard to read, so hopped on the forums and downloaded aMirS theme (link to theme: https://forum.evolvapor.com/files/file/1587-⚡️pro-vapers-auto-fire-charts-action-center-daylight-multi-ui/) and i'm using the army theme. now while i'm really happy with it, its much more legible and has a good chunk more information on the screens which i really like. though one thing i just cant for the life of me work out is how on earth do i set a puff to use the replay mode? when i activate the replay mode it shows 'not puff saved'. and going into the profiles menu, if i activate replay then it says 'wait for puff' now i've tried everything i can think of. been sat in front of escribe and the theme creator, looking at what all the buttons on the theme do, and for the life of me, i just cant find how to set my last puff. now when i activate replay mode i get a gauge on my bottom right i can turn up and down, which effects the vape temp as there is a distinct difference between max on and max off. but, the bar still says 'not puff saved' so i have a feeling that i'm doing something wrong with this. unless the replay mode is just like setting a baseline temp then using the warmth gauge to increase it up and down (e.g set the warmth in the middle, the watts at 50 and that will give you a range of say 40-60w, but if that's all the feature is, it feels a bit lacking as i can easily do that with the watts selection, which is whats leading me to believe im really missing out on something) I have tried it in kanthal, watts and replay mode, and in replay mode have tried both firing the device with the replay button on the main screen enabled and disabled, and with the warmth set to the bottom there's no difference between the vapes. (increasing the warmth, does increase the vape temperature though, as it should) from what i've seen of DNA vids, when using the replay it seems as simple as putting it in replay mode, firing your atty, then a button to save puff is supposed to pop up. now i'm not getting this popup, and i cant highlight the text box which is saying 'not puff saved' My first thought was it would be a temp control only setting, but before i go to the headache of ordering some new TC wire (since its christmas not like id be getting it anytime soon) though i might as well ask if the replay mode is temp control only, or should it work in watt mode with this theme? or am i just being blind and not seeing a really obvious setting that will fix all this. (I did see when i had replay mode turned on, and my material set to SS316, i got a pop up in my action centre saying that 'replay is not officially supported in TC mode, please disable replay. which leads me to believe it should be working with watts) looking in the theme designer once its activated properly the text should change from 'not puff saved' to 'save last puff' and it should be highlightable, as it would be on the default theme, my problem is i'm not getting the 'save last puff' option, and i cant highlight the text that says 'not puff saved' looking in the theme designer the setting where it shows 'save last puff' is set to lock device when you press the middle button on, so i'm not sure if i'm missing something, or the theme is misbehaving. though i did try the LED theme with the same results, couldn't work out how to save a puff for replaying, (just with the added headache of the LED theme having much less information on it than the army theme) also, in the user toggles there's something called 'T/P HEAT' and i'm not really sure what it does, i'm guessing its something to do with the preheat (boost?) function, but toggling it doesn't seem to change anything, so any suggestions would be great. Now i'm really hoping this isn't a case of a issue with the theme, as i really like the theme, its relatively clean, and the numbers are big enough i can read them. (not having gold numbers on a silver/background without much contrast also helps) if anyone a bit more experienced could enlighten me, that would be fantastic. looking forward to any suggestions. many thanks. TL:DR: please explain how to set replay puff, cos I'm a big dummy and cant work it out.
