  1. You make a good point, of course, but joeblowma isn't wrong... the FDA regulations really fucked a lot of things up for vaping in the US and Evolv has to be really careful right now. I'm honestly waiting to see if they're applying for PMTA and, if so, if they get it, before seeing whether or not they're ignoring the issue. Given Evolv's history with customer support, I have a hard time believing that they're ignoring the issue on purpose, so I'm thinking the radio silence has to do with, at least in the part, the FDA...
  2. Okay so... I have my HugsVape Lotus with a dual coil SS430 Clapton build on it. Yesterday, I hit temp protection from cold and couldn't vape at all. Reread the ohms, however, and it started working perfectly and hasn't happened again. The experimental firmware is working well, but clearly it's not a 100% perfect fix. That said, thank you Evolv for actually acting on and dealing with this issue. Also, I don't have a 75c (although I may get a squonk mod with it if I can't find a 250c squonk I like... I'm not too impressed with things I've heard about Lost Vape, but I also have a retail job and a lot of bills I have to pay, so the less I have to pay for a good DNA C squonk mod, the better...), but it looks like y'all should port the firmware over to the 75c, as well...
  3. UPDATE! So I was having the issue most with my Innokin Ares. I just used the Ares for three days and only hit temp protection once. I did also get a "check atomizer" warning, but I have no clue what caused that. I now have my HugsVape Lotus on with a dual-coil 30awg SS316L simple round wire build ohming out to 0.9361, and I'm vaping it at 480*F and 40W with the airflow set to half open. Now, I've only been using it for a few hours, but so far, I haven't hit temp protection at all. I'll update again in a few days, but for me it does indeed seem to be fixed...
  4. Okay so I installed the new firmware. I'm reviewing a new kanthal coil for Freemax, so I won't be able to test it for another day or so. However, I'm going to use Innokin's Ares tank to test it since I had most of my temp protection issues while using that tank. I'll post here with my results once I get to it.
  5. Any chance you could break down the details about this firmware? Or is there a post for it?
  6. Oh hello! Not a new member but I think this might be my first post (or among my first posts)? Anyways... so I have a Think Vape Finder DNA250C. I started having this problem relatively recently... actually after the most recent update and with a new atty. Wanting to try MTL vaping, I got the Innokin Ares... and holy crap did this issue happen a lot. Here's two links. One is my post in ECR about the issue. I was blaming jumping resistances at the time, but apparently that's normal. This other one is my review of the Ares and MTL vaping, where I talk about my frustrations a bit. Seeing people here have issues with the theme, that has me wondering... could it be my theme? I use a slightly-modified version of DJLsb's 75C theme. Basically all I did was add a couple Doctor Who wallpapers. The theme is attached for anyone interested in testing it... My Finder is currently plugged in, and I'm noticing that the board temp is around 97*F to 99*F. Now, I've been using it all morning, so what I'm gonna do is just let it sit for a while (maybe a couple hours... I do need to run a couple errands, and vaping for me is a hobby since I quit nicotine a while back, so leaving it alone is easy enough), plug it back into Escribe, and see what happens. I might even remove the batteries while it's not being used... Doctor Who Theme (Based on DJLsB Theme).ecigtheme
