not sure where to post this but iam seeking a solution or dissection video perhaps to my paranormal 167 mod. lately, in the last day or two i noticed something odd. if i plug a USB cable into the USB port to charge the unit it keeps charging at low power. it keeps going to 0.54A and sometimes fluctuates. previously it would be ok and charge at 1.94A. constantly. another unusual behavior is: i took batteries of my d4 charger and on the mod it read 80%. on the charger it read FULL. i tried two sets of batteries that are full and both read 80%. a few minutes later they changed to a 100% on the mod. the mod has not fallen from my hand nor have i put anything strong nor yanked at the usb port. i am trying to rule out any damage to the usb port. i did pop out one of the magnetic doors and found lots of juice behind it. cleaned that up. same behivour. i also reached with my small finger into the battery compartment and it was rather dry. no moisture / juice. what should i do? does this sound like a hardware issue ? should i attempt a tear-down?

can someone post or link me to a csv file that will work with both LG HG2's and samsung 30q's ?? i am rotating between these batteries for my paranormal 167 ... or should i stick with only one? currently i've applied this csv file ... if i pop in my HG2s will it be OK? i mean it'll work but will it work optimally? i have a friends therion 166 thats giving the check battery issue. i cleaned up all the settings and made sure its set to 2 cells. yet. still. same issue. oddly enough, i can get it to vape and work on the batteries IF i set it to "Power supply" under the mod tab. it'll literally work off the batteries but it'll show a an empty battery. what gives? ((update: i loaded up device monitor and noticed that cell1 reports 1.x volts while cell2 reports 5.12v obviously theres something screwy here. cause on my paranormal both cells read about equal values)) is this a board issue or can it be solved via software? furthermore, why is it if i set to power supply you can use the device with the batteries? now. which one is cell one and which is cell2? the inner one is 1? or outer?

When I am in temp control and was to up the temperature it keeps going at 10s. Like from 300 to 310 and so on. How can i make it increment by 5s? Like 300 to 305 and so on?

When in temp control mode on the DNA 166 paranormal... Is there a way to change the watts or does the chip take control of that via what escribe programs? If there is a way.... What is it?

Curious. I wanted a csv file for my two hg2 batteries to use for the paranormal 166. The funny thing is I found a lot of files. However. Most of the values are different. How do i know which to use? Here's two that say hg2. LG_HG2.csv 3S_LG_HG2_Battery_Profile.csv

That's fine. But since I have a paranormal 166 it's not mentioned. I can only assume since this is a dna250 chip I should read those changes. Right?

Ok i did it. I'll be damned if I knew what changes are made. They should provide a changelog lol.

well i did download that one. 2.0 and sp9. and it did tell me it wants to push a sp to the mod. should i do it?

i am new to the dna devices and was browsing the lostvape website to find the version of escribe to match my paranormal device. i noticed on the evolv forums there are two versions of escribe. version 1.x and 2.x ...theres also some mess in the order they are listed. some version 2 have sp9 and below it is a sp5.x. which one should i go with? furthermore, how do i know if there are any updates for my device ? also, why is the paranormal not even on the lostvape website? i can assume its the same as the therion?

So I just bought me a paranormal dna device and am happy with it thus far. Although one of the side panels is somewhat shaky and doesn't fit right like the other side. It's something I can ignore I guess So, moving on. I figured i'd play around with escribe. Because technically I don't need lots of profiles. All I want is kanthal power mode and ss 316L. Anyways , I kept clicking on load defaults and so on. After I unplugged the device it showed a blank battery icon and it wouldn't turn on. Even though the batteries are full. The device just won't come in. In the end I went on lost vapes website and downloaded the ecig file for the therion being they are identical units. Uploaded that and now it's functional. I am not sure what I did that caused this behavior. Can someone shine some light so I wouldn't commit the same error again? Furthermore I don't know why lost vape dont even have any info on the paranormal device. But still I believe the therion is the same.
