If I try to fire a dry coil it burns out. It shouldn't happen, it shouldn't even glow.

So i build dual coil with Ni200, 0.3mm(28AWG), 8 wraps around 2.3mm drill bit. Down below is my set up from eScribe. I'm getting an insane dry hits at wattage far below then set on eScribe- I've tryed to go down at 40W, still dry hits. If I do 120W coils start to glow red while device is displaying "temperature protected".
