    No I am running a verson of Snow Lepord 10.6.8 i know its an old version but I think it the most stabel with programs like V box. Do you have vbox? I and with vbox im running xp ie6. I am not 100% on el capitan as I have not meesd with much. How are you running escribe?

    it will reconginze all devices as (evolv dna 200). its the default name of all devices that connect to escribe. You can chose to rename it if you wish. I have had no issues with my reuleaux at all and I am running escribe via virutal box on a MAC. Are you using the cable that came with the device?
