Thanks!
I opened a ticket on the help desk, let's see what they say first.
I realized I can't live without it anymore :-( -
First of all, thanks for your reply blueridgedog.
I disassembled the hole mod and removed the battery wires.
Without battery the DNA should connect and show up in Escripe but it's still dead.I noticed something while plugging the USB cable in and out.
As soon I plug in the USB cable, I can hear some "clicking" sounds coming from the USB port location of the board. I can't see any burn marks or possibly shorts. As you probably already noticed I'm not from the USA so it's hard for me to describe... Sorry for my bad English.
As I live in Germany I don't know how or even if a return could probably work.
Looks like I need to order a new one from Ireland. -
After two weeks of "Vapors heaven" my DNA 200 just stopped working in the middle of a puff...
Due to the size of my mod I had to solder the battery wires directly to the board, so I can't try to kind of "restart" the DNA.
I checked all wires, connections and the fuse and everything looks absolutely fine.
If I try to connect it to the PC nothing happens, display stays black and doesn't connect to Escripe.BUT: If connected to USB, the board (the two big squares on the board) are getting very hot.
Firmware *** 2015-08-07 EScribe ***
Already tried to rerun a firmware update but it can't connect.
I was running a 0.04 dual Nickel clapton.
Using a nano tech 950mah
Please Help! DNA dead and get`s hot if connected to USB.
