First of all, thanks for your reply blueridgedog. I disassembled the hole mod and removed the battery wires. Without battery the DNA should connect and show up in Escripe but it's still dead. I noticed something while plugging the USB cable in and out. As soon I plug in the USB cable, I can hear some "clicking" sounds coming from the USB port location of the board. I can't see any burn marks or possibly shorts. As you probably already noticed I'm not from the USA so it's hard for me to describe... Sorry for my bad English. As I live in Germany I don't know how or even if a return could probably work. Looks like I need to order a new one from Ireland.

After two weeks of "Vapors heaven" my DNA 200 just stopped working in the middle of a puff... Due to the size of my mod I had to solder the battery wires directly to the board, so I can't try to kind of "restart" the DNA. I checked all wires, connections and the fuse and everything looks absolutely fine. If I try to connect it to the PC nothing happens, display stays black and doesn't connect to Escripe. BUT: If connected to USB, the board (the two big squares on the board) are getting very hot. Firmware *** 2015-08-07 EScribe *** Already tried to rerun a firmware update but it can't connect. I was running a 0.04 dual Nickel clapton. Using a nano tech 950mah
