Did you update the FW at all? I don't have any issues getting the mod to read in eScribe, it's just the screen that's not responding.

Occurred to me that it could be that simple as well; just a loose connection on the cable. Seems a bit silly to send it back to Hana and lose the mod for a week and a half over it, so will be interested to see what escribe says once the update is able to tell me what's up with the screen.

I don't get any screen activity at all, at this point - hard reboot, FW update, nada.

Having a somewhat similar issue - received my v200 last night, seemed to be working fine but connected it to eScribe to get the latest firmware updates. Screen randomly went blank; thought it might have been in stealth mode, but turning stealth on/off seems to have no effect. Did a hard reboot, and the last thing I saw from the screen was the stealth mode prompt - no luck getting the screen to start up at all since, regardless of FW, brightness settings, etc.
