  1. Im having a lot of trouble getting my DNA 200 working properly. I am thinking its stemming from a possible short during assembly. I had everything soldered on properly, then when I went to attach the positive from the battery to the board I had some sparks, and actually got a nice shock. I tried it a second time and got it working. Now, with that being said I can not get my power button to work, and both my tactile buttons for the up and down work. The weird thing is they both just increase wattage, so the down is acting like an up. But the screen lights up and everything looks good there so Im thinking the short couldn't have been to bad. Any advice? Really hoping to get this working soon
  2. Thanks for the reply, I guess I'm confused still as I have read that thread too. It seems like there soldering it to the board? I'm looking to use tact switches with the LEDs built in. Or would I just use a 100 ohm resistor and solder the switches to the pads?
  3. So I'm still planning my DNA build and I was looking into using LED fire, up and down buttons. I'm somewhat new to the DNA boards but have made dozens of unregulated mods. Now, the fire button is momentary 3a/36vdc with a 2.8v LED and 15mA forward current. I figured I would just wire it to the positive and negative on the 510 so it would light up when fired. Would a 1/4v 270 ohm resistor protect the LED? Also the LED tact switches are 3v, 50mA forward. What size resistor would be needed and what would be the easiest way to wire those so that they will light up when pressed? Thanks
