  1. I assume you have a vt200 and have downloaded describe?
  2. Nah I'll keep it this way till it finally dies.
  3. These are the closest thing i could come up with scouring the internet. /topic/67353-topic/?do=findComment&comment=906184
  4. While I initially thought the same thing, after some experiments and reading the escribe manual about the case analyzer. The statics in the thermal section in escribe describe how the board temp is effected by the thermal properties of the case. Yes, blowing on the board would result in the board computing that as room temp going down, because it thinks that if the board temp is being cooled faster than whats expected for the estimated room temp, ergo the room temp must be lower. This is why getting an accurate measurement on the case analyzer is important for the board to calculate an accurate estimate.
  5. No the battery is good and balanced. I think black lace is correct. I wired an external button and it works fine. Strange that is turns on the device every single time but wont fire.
  6. VT200. I've been considering an add on button. just strange that i can pull the batt and it powers on every time but wont fire.
  7. No. The fire button will only turn on it wake the device but not work after boot.
  8. The fire button will wake the device and device monitor has no problem firing the atty, but pressing the button does nothing. I'm inclined to think the button is fine, other wise it would not turn on when pressed. My device is also locked. Updating firmware, downgrading firmware, soft reset, hard reset, and restore evolv defaults does not change this status. Even after clearing all this the device is still locked. I would think rewriting the firmware would wipe everything, but it seems not to be the case.
  9. These are the escribe files I have for the VT200. They are the closest to manufacture settings I can find on the net. If anyone has better defaults than these please contribute. VT200_Defaults.zip
