  1. Have you saved a profile for what you have discovered Neunerball?
  2. I have one of these, was able to get some TC. The initial room temperature resistance is about .067 ohms. When the TC starts to cut in the resistance is only at about .08 ohms so the TCR must be incredibly low. I started off with the Silver profile from Steam Engine. I played around with it a bit and managed to get a TC profile which will need a bit of tweaking. It`s the first one I`ve tried to do. Might give someone a starting point SXPURE.ecigpr
  3. After two full days use at 20watts, still loads of vaping left in these 3 brand new Samsung 25Rs in the Wismec. So glad I moved from lipos to 18650 batteries. Even with an improved Turnigy nano tech 1300 3s in the Vapecige VTbox I would have been into my third cycle. Only getting a .2V drop on the three batteries in use so 0.063V ish per cell. Am I right in believing that the voltages displayed are read purely as a voltmeter and not dependant on any other settings in the "MOD" tab as I reset the cell capacity to 2500?
  4. Thanks for that Vapingbad, I didn`t know that
  5. Well into the second day of exclusive vaping on the three battery Wismec DNA200 now and the battery total voltage is sitting at 11.18 Volts and 10.97 under load. (20 watts all the time) There has been minimal charging, just enough time to get a few voltage readings. Pleased with it so far, it is going to give a good improvement over the battery life of the lipo versions (I had the Vapecige one which would have been on charge hours ago) I have some new 25r`s and will repeat the test with them. The current Vappower ones have had a lot of use and are maybe getting a little tired.
  6. Initial concerns about possible wire overheating in the top picture looked to be unfounded with some better pics in better light this morning. It looks like they deliberately melted the plastic and pushed the wire into the molten plastic to stop the wire wandering possible. The 510 is very close at that point. The wires to the battery cable. There are only three plus the strap and eyelet from the negative side of the battery cradle. There were then a thin black and a thin red wire which went to pins two and three of what would have been the lipo connector. A thicker red wire (the positive from the battery cradle) was connected where you would expect it to be on the board.
  7. Some more pics on the forum address from vapingbad above. It really looks like they melted a groove into the plastic and then pushed the wire into the molten plastic. The wire was stuck along the bottom surface of the wire insulation. As Vapingbad pointed out on the AAEC forum, that wire is pretty close to the 510 connector and while not an ideal way to secure the wire it was a practical solution to the possible problem. Some better quality pictures on that forum.
  8. I dont think it carries a lot of current, battery monitoring or charging maybe.
  9. I dont think so. Looks more likely that they have melted a channel there for the wire by the look of it, or a slip of the soldering iron. Maybe to stop it chafing or wandering somewhere where it shouldn`t be.
  10. With reference to the white foamy plug, it`s nothing special and comes out without damage. It has adhesive on the non visible end and the screw underneath is a philips.
  11. A big improvement in the battery performance from fitting the Turnigy Nano-Tech 1300mah Lipo. From just under a days vaping to just under a day and a half. This from a battery rated at 1300mah replacing a Lion Power 1800mah battery. Either Lion Power or Vapecige or both pulling a fast one. I am only up to first recharge on the battery so hoping it will improve more after 5 or 6 cycles.
  12. Hi guys, I have replaced my so called 1800mah Lionpower (pussycat) battery with the Turnigy nano Tech 1500mah. Into the second day after charging. Does anyone know what the soft cut off voltage is for this battery? thanks in advance
  13. Received Turnigy nano-tech 1300mah today and fitted, it`s a bit longer than the original Lion Power (supposed to be 1800mah , but a better fit widthways than the original (not as tight), Charged up and vaping. Wii let you know when I have to recharge.
  14. Good to hear Popeye I got a very apologetic letter from the seller overnight who had forgotten that I had upgraded to a 3s version and paid for it, so should have it tomorrow or the day after
  15. I ordered a 3s Turnigy nano Tech 1300mah battery and recieved a 2s battery, but I can confirm that the fit is excellent, even allowing for the third cell. The battery is covered very neatly with good square sides all round. It`s a good fit but not a tight one. Certainly not as tight as the original crappy battery is. Will post again when I receive the right one.
  16. After trying a few days with a normal 18 to 20 watts normal power mode, pretty disappointed with the battery life, barely a day`s vaping, was hoping for nearer two from this lipo. I thought maybe the mod was a bit thirstier in TC mode but that`s not the case, more or less the same in either mode.
  17. Thanks for that info, answers a few questions for me, Vapecige could have asked the battery makers to redo the labels for their order to give their mod the edge over others. The battery makers do not list a 1800mah. If you google it, the only place it will pop up is on forums who are suspicious about the capacity.
  18. Unfortunately you cant get two 1860 batteries to fit, not enough width in the cavity and there doesn`t seem to be enough scope to mill it out etc @dwcraig1 The cavity is only 33mm wide. I`m not a battery expert, but don`t you need 11Volts for the DNA200?
  19. It`s a bit odd, the company that make the batteries do not market another 1800mah lipo, but they do market a 1500mah battery which appears to be the same dimensions I have the mark 1 with the isuues, but easily fixed. The battery life does seem to be pretty low. It works very well and the colour/design does grow on you (red/black). The finish is great quality apart from the massive logo.
  20. Hi, I charge it through the USB, I dont have a lot of experience of Lipos although I am thinking of getting a balanced charger for when I have spare batteries for the mod. The 1800mah claim is very suspicious, there is not one picture or listing for that lipo anywhere on the web that I can find. There is a 1500mah one available which seems to have the same dimensions though I should add that anyone that has a serial number lower than 0200 should return it to the vender for a replacement to the safe version.
  21. Thank you, I am talking with them now, the connector issue seems to be fixed for mods after 0200 serial number.
  22. Hi, has anyone received one of these with a serial number greater than 200. Mine is 0141 and while the 510 is not glued ( it`s a push fit type) the battery lead connector is a male unshrouded one. Apart from that it works really well. I love the DNA200 and I love the finish on the mod.
