  1. Think of a piece of kanthal. You can fold it over itself 100 times and it wont break. But if you bend the same place back and forth 10 times, it snaps. The same thing happens to a ribbon connector, theyre not meant to flex beyond the initial setup and placement.
  2. I used an RDA, just coils on it.[/QUOTE] When i read things like this, my own fear of blowing my batteries up lowers drastically... Oh let me just run my 10a efest batteries dry through this coiled rda... jesus christ.
  3. Temp control just isnt hot enough for me. Even at 300 degrees its too cool a vape. I used to really enjoy temp control maybe... a year ago? But I was using it to mainly avoid dry hitting. Now there are so many good rebuildable tanks that dryhitting is not a real problem anymore. And since temp control is not hot enough to be satisfying, I have gone back to kanthal.
  4. 3.6v is probably set as 0% charge in the software. 3.6v is pretty dead for an 18650.
  5. Does this actually fix the problem though? The problem isnt the button touching the cable, its the button pushing on the cable and making the cable move. If your plastic shim still gets hit by the button and causes the cable to move, you'll have the same problem. Ribbon cables are not made to constantly be flexing around, the wires inside are very very fine and constant movement is what causes them to break.
