Yep, you're quite right. I don't know why I said 304. Mine is SS316 too. My bad.

Even at 600 the TC stops it going above 50w anyway so upping the Watts will not make any difference

In tiny text on the picture of the coil on the box, you can see it says SS304. I've used that curve from steam engine & get a reasonable vape at 600deg & 50w but not overly impressed. Feels a bit weak

Anyone know what steel type this is or what steam engine curve works best with it?
