  1. Now my personal 2s 18650 mod is acting up. Lights up on USB and if you hold down the fire button but it says check battery. In monitor mode I'm seeing 0v/5.3v/0v and pack voltage matching cell 2. Also with batteries out I see about 3v on cell 2 and pack. Could this be the weird resistor issue I've seen crop up?
  2. No, it was just hooked up so she could play with the custom screens. No recovery charging or anything weird,
  3. One of my customers left her mod connected to a PC overnight, and woke up to a dead mod. the inside of the mod smells burned and when the lipo is connected to a good board on monitor mode, I'm seeing 2.45v/0.03v/2.31v. When the fried board is connected to USB, the area around the USB port gets hot. Fuse is fine, but otherwise, this thing is DEAD.
  4. So I have a mod that doesn't seem to want to charge very fast, and the board gets warm on it's own and seems to be draining the battery when it's unhooked from USB. Anyone seen this happen? The mod still works fine otherwise. Watching escribe I'm seeing pack voltage drop slowly, a USB current of ~90ma and the board temp plateau at about 128f. I placed the mod with the lid off under a fan and it eventually climbed right back up to 125-130. Off of charge it floats from cold up to about 115f.
  5. Doing a screen replacement on a mod I built was going great, mod checked out fine outside of the enclosure, and after securing the screen in (using scotch tape, this is a prototype) and getting everything in, the whole mod stops working. Going into device monitor I can see all of everything as normal, and puff through the software, but the screen is still blank, and the on board buttons do nothing. Edit: It seems that I somehow managed to damage the ribbon cable. I can't see any damage, but I figured out that the board was locked and then the mod worked with out any display. I assume it doesn't take much to mess up these ribbon cables?
