  1. I threw the 18650 sled back in and it seems a lot better. I was just hoping to use the Lipo until I can get some batteries. Also if you removed the carbon fiber panels how did you go about it? I can seem to figure out a way that won't scratch it.
  2. So rather than clog this place up with another thread I'm gonna ask all the duo owners here: Any of y'all having a sticky button with the Lipo in? I can't seem to recreate it with the 18650 sled, and it doesnt stick with the Lipo outside the box.
  3. I'd have to take a look again but if I remember correctly it was like the mod resistance, and some thermal settings.
  4. I just picked up a Jaybo DNA200. I've noticed there's two files floating around the ol interwebs. Ones directly from Wismec, the others from an individual. They both have different readings as far as I can tell. Which should I use?
  5. So my VT200 is acting funny still. No matter what wire I run (NiFe or Ti) I can't get this stupid thing to work. I've tried every combo of every variable and nothing is working. It's almost as if my temperature is off, or my ohms reader is off. Nothing runs unless my temp is above 500°f, and unless I manually lock the resistance in .1 higher that rest reading it doesn't work. I just recently factory reset everything and ran the case analyzer hoping that would fix it. I used all the settings from a thread on here for the thermal stuff, but I'm not sure if it applies to my service since mines an earlier serial number. Any ideas on what the issue is?
  6. I've been having issues with my VT200 as well. I don't have another mod to test out on. Or an ohm meter. For the site linked above, how do I know if mine has the right 510 and everything?
  7. Well I'm gonna let it sit for an hour or two since it was just in my car and it's like 30 degrees outside. Then I'm gonna do the reset and case analyzer
  8. I'm gonna try factory resetting it and running the case analyzer cause I messed with some settings I think I shouldn't have.
  9. 24g 8-wrap, 3mm. And I don't always lock it. What's the big deal with locking it?
  10. Well my pre-heat is almost nonexistent really considering its set to 60w for 1sec and I'm running it at 60. But I'll try it with the pre-heat off
  11. Hmmm that's odd. I want that VT133 so bad but I don't know if I trust hcigar after kind of lying about the battery on this.
  12. Well I'm gonna reset to default just to change the couple things I think may have caused issues. But my pre-heat and everything will go back to normal.
  13. Well I'm kind of just spitballing here... And I've rebuilt 2-3 times on 3-4 different attys and still does it. I forget exactly what I changed. But I'm just throwing out ideas on what could cause it.
  14. So I've been having some problems with my VT200 when using NiFe48 wire. It seems like its instantly hitting temp protection no matter what. I've tried more wick, less wick, cotton/rayon. Spaced/contact coils. Nothings working. It was working fine just a week or two ago. I have the CSV from steam engine. If I lock the resistance .1 above what it reads it sort of works. (Like resting is .9 and I lock it at .10) I plan on running the case analyzer tonight. And I did change some settings to what someone else had their VT200 set too. Should I restore to defaults and try that? Along with the case analyzer? Is there a firmware update for the VT200?
