  1. As some of you may have read my previous post about my new Lavabox having issues with not firing at ~15% charge with no errors, I have decided to run the battery analyzer to see whats what. I used an open three post deck with two 12" pieces of 24ga kanthal that came out to .89ohms firing at 40w. It took approx. 40 minutes to run then came out with 9.09 watt hours. Looking at the curve it generated, it seems to be in line with what I was experiencing. Comparing it to the csv supplied on Volcano's website, it's drastically different (them having the pack at 9.99 watt hours as well). Did I not do something correct or are these batteries and volcano's numbers rather inflated?
  2. So I went to have a vape today with 19% battery left and it wouldn't fire at all. No flashing battery bar, no errors. I checked in device monitor and saw the cells were 3.57, 3.59 and 3.29. I have the soft cell cut set at 3.2. I'm watching to see what happens while it's charging and it's slowly equalizing out after about 20 minutes of charging. Bum lipo pack?
  3. All cell voltages are the same across the pack. I charged it up to 100% last night before bed (waited for the usb current to be .01) then unplugged it. Woke up this morning and it's reading 99% after 8ish hours being left alone. Not that 1% is really anything to worry about, but I don't think that is normal.
  4. I've had the box since this past thursday
  5. I posted another topic in the battery section about my new Lavabox going from 19% charge to completely dead overnight (8 hrs or so) and having to do a USB recovery charge on it to get it to function again. After a complete charge I used device monitor to watch the battery stats for a while with the USB current set to 0.00 so it was not charging. I wanted to see what the battery was doing at idle with the screen brightness at 0%. I checked on it over a 4 hour period and noticed that the battery dropped .001 wH every 16 seconds like clock work. I borrowed my friends 1300mah Lavabox and did the same with his, and the results were exactly the same. Both of us have the most current firmware installed and all of our device settings are the same except for the battery size. Is this amount of drain considered normal for a DNA200 device?
  6. I just got my first DNA200 device the other day, a Lavabox. It's been great up until last night. Before I went to bed, it showed 19% battery remaining and I have never seen a low battery error(only vape at 45w) I went to take a puff before charging this morning and nothing happened. The screen wouldn't even turn on. I plugged it into the AC adapter and it would turn on, but it was not taking a charge. I connected it to Escribe to see what was going on and all three cells were showing 2.45v and there was no amount of charging going on. I did a USB recovery charge on it and the voltages were jumping all over the place for a few minutes, each cell going up and down independant to each other. Then they all displayed the same voltage and charging continued as normal. After a while I plugged it back into the AC adapter and all seems to be going normal as usual. What could have possibly happened over night to the battery? I have my battery wH configured to 9.99 and soft cell cutoff at 3.09. I would think I would have been seeing errors if it was below this, but did not. Anyone have any ideas?
