    What kind of micro USB cable is it? OTG? Are you plugging into a USB 2.0, 3.0, 3.1 port?

    I have the same issue. I've tried different cables, different devices with said cables (which work). It either doesn't work at all or get the Windows USB malfunction error. I've tried using 3 different PCs (2 are Windows 11, 1 is Windows 10) and nothing works.
