  1. What do u mean add? I just re-soldered with new wire and solder.
  2. So i resoldered the 510 connector and it still reads 2.08+- for the pre built 1.8 ohm coil. Don't know whats wrong...
  3. It doesn't fluctuate when in use but sometimes if i leave it for a while then fire it again, it might jump to a higher ohm then if i leave it again and fire another time it will be the first ohm reading. Edit: like right now im using the same coil as last night reading at .36, right now its reading .39. Edit 2: well then lol, took a hit and the coil snapped (from a short maybe), it was working fine for the pass two days though -.- Edit 3: I put in a pre-built coil at 1.8ohm, but the device reads 2.02ish but its jumping up and down from there so i guess it is a bad connection. Mod surgery time
  4. Im using a fatdaddy 510 connector. The connections look fine, im using 14awg wire. How would i test/know if its bad?
  5. Ok so i did the case analyzer and checked the mod resistance (got .02). The vape is still real cool. Currently i have it set to 580F to get a warmish vape. Is this normal?
  6. I didn't know about the mod resistance. How do i set it accordingly? And yes the resistance is close enough on each, off by .01-.03.
  7. I have been wondering if the temp my DNA200 is reading, is correct. It seems that 450F is a lot warmer on another mod(IPV3) then mine, both using the same tank and coil. How do i test to see if the temp is correct?
  8. Yea it prob is shorting against the tank walls. I just ordered 32awg wires to test out, if not i might need a bigger tank.
  9. I get .24-.28 ohms. Most likely not the insufficient tightening issues, might even be too tight as i go all the way to where it almost clips the wire(comes off with one twist).
  10. I have a question about coils also, so im new to building coils, i have an aspire triton tank. I used 30 gauge ni200 around a 3.5mm rod for 8 wraps. When i fire it, the positive leg seems to short (burn), sometimes it even melts the wire. Then when i do get a coil to not burn it seems to get to temp control real quick (450F), also the vapes are real cool through out. I have it on 25w with pre-heat at 200w for 1s. Is this normal and any advice to prevent the shorts or what ever is happening?
  11. Just finished my build after weeks of waiting and reprinting the case.
  12. I would also like to know how i can edit the case, im new to 3d printing and i couldn't get the case to save as a STL file in inventor 2016. End up making my own model with the measurements.
