  1. hope you have your sales receipt, because if not you're boned. Mine went all wonky, and I was gonna send it back but since they are such a PITA to work on because those Carbon panels usually get wrecked beyond re-use. Because they have to come off for board replacement. That being said Nick at Evolv was awesome, and they are sending me a new DNA 200 board and I will be doing it myself, I may photo catalog / create a tutorial on the process if I have time.
  2. Did SP5 still having issues. Going to reinstall the original version again and see where that goes. Thanks!
  3. Had it sorted, then got up this morning to a bottomed out meter on a fully charged LiPo, went in to diagnostics, reset the charge estimate, and it snaps back, until the unit goes idle, then as soon as I fire it the meter craps out again. This is in reference to a DNA 200 Lost Vapes Halcyon. CAN ANYONE HELP ME FIX THIS? IT'S DRIVING ME CRAZY!
  4. Okay DNA folks I have a lost Vapes Halcyon, has a LiPo, and the spec sheet on the DNA website claims it's 11.1 v Pack. I just downloaded the new Escribe software update, downloaded the service pack, and at first it was telling me the battery was empty, apparently a common issue with this SP. I restored the defaults, then the pack registered charge again, and as I was looking in the monitor it said the pack is reading 11.47 v @ 3.82 v each per cell. The Monitor and device itself are claiming that the LiPo is only 51% charged, and slowly climbing. But I am curious is this normal parameters?
  5. I only charge mine off a 2A USB point on a powerstrip. In theory, giving the onboard 1A balanced charger a good supply to pull from so it can charge at full rate. Takes about an hour and a half to come up full from 30%. USB output is generally equal to or less than the rate on the mod, lengthening charge time. So I only plug into my laptop when I am adjusting parameters in eScribe. Also, when I am out and about I keep a Samsung 6000Mah charge pack in my bag. It pushes 5.1v @1.5A and I can charge it several times before having to recharge the Samsung pack, and it takes no less time than wall charging it.
  6. Nope. I have had no issues to speak of. It's work flawlessly so far. once it gets down to around 30% I throw it on to charge and 2 hrs later it's good to go again.
  7. Mine came with the Maelstrom, for the price, quite a good little RDA. Supposedly the Hobo V3.1 can take a squonk pin, If you have a Tsunami Geek vape sell pins, and the pin from the 24mm fits the 22mm, just be a conservative juicer, or a 22mm will weep like a Beverly hills housewife signing a prenup. I bit it and grabbed a Velocity v2, that is now my ADV atty. Worth every penny.
  8. Mine stops once it hits 100% charge, it has a balanced internal 1A charger. Once you get into Escribe, and start playing around, you can even monitor it through the diagnostics panel if you wish. Mines on hiatus at the moment as I am having a break from VW, and rocking my Hybrids currently.
  9. Yeah after I posted i used my Google-Fu and found that very thing. As I said, overall I really enjoy the Mod and in rotation it can go most of the day. Thanks CB!
  10. Hey All New to the forum, and DNA 200's, especially those that are Lipo powered. I have a battery question, I got myself a Lost Vapes Halcyon for my birthday this year, so far it's pretty darn awesome, but I do have one gripe, and that is the stock battery is a 900Mah Lipo.... Is there a Lipo pack that has a better Mah rating that will fit?
