Thank you. I haven't done any solder work since high school haha! I was nervous doing it but it went better than I had hoped. Someone just pointed out though I wired my 510 backwards. I think I found the reason my board is dead.

Tried that but nothing. I've taken it all apart and it won't even power on with the USB.

yes its a good cable. It's a custom one I just built last night. I had just finished updating it and pull it off the computer to hook up to a wall outlet to charge it a bit faster since the USB on the computer is only .5 amps

Is this what is bad then? What could have cause this?

BillW50 that's not mine. It's just a picture I found of it that was nice and up close of the little black chip above the USB port. Mine is flaked off.

Does anyone know what the chip above the USB port on the DNA200 is? https://s3.amazonaws.com/files.websitetoolbox.com/186396/2377382 What is it's function? My board isn't charging and that chip has all the markings flaked off. It might be bad but no idea. I know it's not charging or being read through escribe.
