  1. I'm getting the same "Error Press Up to Continue" and same 77% battery meter reading on fully charged batteries in 3 of my 4 Reuleauxs. I am running firmware 2015-9-30 on all 4 and Escribe Revision 1.0.35.2. The problem is very intermittent and I have not seen this at all on either of my VT 200s.[/QUOTE]On my 4th and newest Reuleaux, the very first thing I saw on the screen (after taking it out of the packaging and installing 3 VTC5's) was "ERROR Press up to continue". I had to press up and then I saw welcome screen for the very first time. This was prior to changing anything from default or even screwing on an atty.

  3. It would be nice if we had a FORM to enter Escribe Battery Analyzer Test Results for 18650's similar to what is currently available for the 3S Lipo Packs in DIY applications. Maybe a column for mod used to test as well. Anyone else like to see this?
  4. This is for you guys that are dead-set on keeping the manual reverse battery protection in place that Jaybo has provided (instead of defeating it by grinding or cutting off), and are struggling to remove the batteries from the Reuleaux without ripping the shrink-wrap on your batteries. Take a popsicle stick (or anything non-conductive) and slightly bevel one end of it with a file or sandpaper and use it to wedge between the positive ends of the batteries and the battery holder to disengage the battery from plastic ring and gently pull out. Someone may have a better idea......if so I would love to hear it.
  5. I am using a very old version of MS Excel and get an error message when I try to attach the actual spreadsheet here but I was able to copy and paste the data here. Hopefully you guys can copy and paste this data into your csv file and do something with it if you want. Battery Charge (%) Cell Voltage (V) 0 3.109999895 8.162908554 3.339999914 13.74328136 3.440000057 19.75640297 3.5 35.79605103 3.609999895 58.86089325 3.839999914 63.87589645 3.869999886 80.93110657 4.03000021 95.98310852 4.110000134 98.99490356 4.159999847 100 4.210000038 This was created inside Escribe with "battery analyzer" for the HG2's in the Reuleaux @ .24 ohm load, and @ 100 watts in non/TC mode. The HG2's are new, married, rotated inside mod from cycle to cycle, and only have 3 normal (for me) cycles on them. "Soft Cut-Off" was set to default (3.09v) for this test. The watt hours for my setup at .24 ohms and 100 watts worked out to 28.654 watt hours. I honestly just finished this test (63 minutes to complete @ 100 watts), and have not had time to put the mod through a complete cycle to see how accurate the battery bar and percent of charge numbers are at the bottom of the cycle but the top 36 % looks good to me. I plan on raising the "soft cut-off" to 3.2 volts and running this again soon. I will post an updated csv reflecting the higher (3.2v) SC when I do that. Here is what I came up with for my Reuleaux, LG HG2's, @100w - .24 ohm and the "soft cut-off" set to 3.2v Battery Charge (%) Cell Voltage (V) 0 3.230000019 2.273139238 3.299999952 5.894935131 3.380000114 9.310082436 3.430000067 33.2994957 3.599999905 47.8809433 3.75 79.14657593 4.010000229 91.65790558 4.070000172 96.8712616 4.110000134 98.95587921 4.150000095 100 4.190000057
  6. I am running MS Windows 8.1 version 6.3.9600 on a x64 based pc - I upgraded from 2015-08-21 straight to 1.0.35.2. After upgrading the "help menu" about escribe reflected the new 1.0.35.2 version. The "device monitor" still reported the version as 2015-08-21. The "watts press" and "hold increments" could be changed but when uploaded to devices DID NOT WORK. I rolled back to 2015-9-30. Help/About Escribe still reports the previous version I had just rolled back from 1.0.35.2. Device Monitor accurately reports 2015-09-30. The watt "press & hold" increments work as intended in 2015-09-30. I upgraded 1 more time to 1.0.35.2 (hoping I had done something wrong) but the afore mentioned problems ALL still exist. The watt "press & hold" features quit working when upgraded to 1.0.35.2 again. I'm new to Escribe and the DNA 200. I was trying to confuse (or combine) Escribe update and board firmware revisions. Sorry guys! I can't imagine what we will be doing in 5 years but I look forward to the ride. You guys ROCK! PLEASE DELETE THIS POST - THANKS!!!
