  1. Thanks for the replies guys and sorry for the late reply on my side. Still on vacation in HI. this is my 4th 2s build on a p box, i've built a few other 2s boxes as well but this is the first time i ever came across this issue. Yes it is a 3d printed sled from modsledz and i never had an issue with them. maybe this time it is the connections on the sled but wasn't quite sure as escribe did show up proper volts. The chip was from a working reauleaux dna200. I'll take a screen shot of the power graph when i get back home in a couple of days much appreciated in the responses!
  2. no still flat. hasn't budged or anything
  3. I checked the fuse, looked fine and also used a multimeter
  4. Hey guys Wondering if any one had this issue: I got a DNA200 in 2s mode. escribe recognized both cells and pack. mod wont turn on. I plug it into the usb and then it turns on. the moment i unplug the usb, it shuts off. video: https://youtu.be/AoDD6sevptY suggestions of the issue? TIA
  5. Oops... forgot to thank everyone for the troubleshooting assistance. It was definitely annoying but fun haha Cheers!
  6. Just an update for you guys. I had it sent to Evolv and they indicated it was a blown fuse despite the fuse looking fine physically.
  7. I'll definitely give that a try tonight and give the readouts from pins 1-3 in respect to ground from both the DNA chip and the daughter board
  8. The power from the daughter board to the DNA chip was ~7.4v. I can't see what else is wrong unless its the DNA chip itself. It is working in Power Supply mode but the moment i change it to the Lipo in 2S it just doesnt stay on.
  9. I also did reseat the screen. Still same thing.
  10. Bill - yes changing it to Power Supply actually worked! Unit is staying on and firing fine. Battery indicator isn't working but its working. At least i can use it now while waiting for Evolv support to get back to me. Vaping Bad - Just opened it up and looked fine. i verfied with multimeter from the reverse protection board to the chip and its a clear path. Thanks everyone for the help.
  11. If you got time Bill, can you post a pic of yours? Should be the same but....
  12. Hey BillW50 - I didn't want to tinker around with the the connection between the two boards. connections seems solid and i am getting proper V readings and such.
  13. Guess here's a bit more info: - I had this working fine for 2-3 months then it just stopped working one day. Never been dropped not exposed to water - I've tried numerous batteries, they're all the same results. - Verified if the fuse was blown, its not. Read somewhere on this forum to jump the B+ and skip the fuse, still nothing. - used a multimeter to verify all pins from the reverse battery protection has good paths to the DNA200 board. - verified there is 7.4V going into the DNA200 board - checked the entire DNA200 board to see if there is any other burnt resistors, nothing wrong that I can see with a flashlight and magnifying glass. As for the support, I went to http://www.evolvapor.com/index.php, Send message and it brought me to http://helpdesk.evolvapor.com/index.php?a=add to create a ticket. I dont see any other way to contact Evolv. Attached are pics of escribe. Thanks in advance for any help and suggestions.
  14. hey guys, i got a VT133 that isn't firing or staying on. Whenever i hit the fire button, it turns on but the moment i let go, it turns off. Batteries are full and i checked the board for any blown resistors or fuses and it seems to be all checked out. When plugged in, the battery indicator shows empty and no lightning bolt. no charging. I've already tried all versions of firmwares, battery is set to 2S 12.2whr(LG HG2) Device monitor shows Cell 1 5.65V, Cell 2 1.26V pack 5.25V I already tried contacting evolv but no response to my ticket for the past 5 days... any suggestions? Video of issue https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kbNbS0Q5iGU thanks
