  1. Cross posted from DNA200/250: So I have already had this Lavabox repaired by Evolv once, and now it just came out of warranty so I can't get it repaired again. I am wondering if I can slavage it myself. The Lavabox itself is a poor design, at least mine is, the slightest leak from a tank seeps in to the 510 connector and runs down the chip. I generally run a Griffin on it which I keep pretty sealed but some leaks are inevitable, and I clean them as soon as possible. I now have the same issue I had when I sent in the chip for repair the first time. Cell 3 reads 0.00V and therefore the whole pack reads 0.000Wh and won't fire. I opened it up, there was a little bit of juice in it, which I cleaned, where I think the issue lies is that juice gets in the channels under the white battery connector. Anyone else ever run in to this issue? Is it salvageable without replacing the chip? I am thinking if I desolder the battery connector and clean it all out under there, maybe I can clean a possible short if the chip isn't blown. Overall I am pretty much done with this mod so this would just be a weekend project to see what I could do. I wouldn't make this my primary mod again, the design is just horrible compared to my Therion and Reuleaux. Just seeking advice to see if this is a fruitless effort.
