  1. So, finally i became a happy owner of a DNA device. I purchased a Therion 166 and so far im pretty pleased with everything. But, (why theres always has to be a but...? xD) sometimes lately i deal with a weird problem. From times to times tc seems really underpowered. I vape normally around 200c to 230c and i get a really decent vapour production but then it seems out of a sudden pretty weak and i have to get it up to 250c-260c to get somewhat of the same vape. Where it gets even more weird is that that doesnt happen when i leave my setup overnight. Actually the first draws in the morning seem a bit overpowered too. So i thout that its probably my wicking that has more time to satutate overnight, since i use the infamous for leaking issues aromamizer supreme and i tend to use a bit more cotton than what i would use normally. But then again, until this happens and in wattage seems to wick just fine. My current setup if that helps somehow is a dual coil 316l ss fused clapton around 0.12Ω with power set at 120w and max hardness. Batteries are some new samsung 25Rs. From a little research i did online some people suggested in a similar problem that it has something to do with the internal resistance but unlike with what i expected my mod came with the ir setup in about 0.004Ω and I tried to measure it with the giz method after the excellent advice of wizzy (that i forgot to thank in the first place for his help) and I got somethimg very similar so i left it as it was. Also, i use the steam engine TCR for 316l. I cant provide any escribe data atm (no country for mac users...) but if you need something i will provide it as soon as i can. Any ideas guys or ladies out there ? Thanks in advance.
  2. So, I recently purchased my first dna device, a Therion 166 that I expect from day to day in my mailbox. I would like to fine tune it as much as i can and finding out the internal resistance is essential if i get it right. From what i read in other forums Lost Vape doesnt have a preset value for the internal resistance of their mods so i have to figure it out myself. I've seen a few methods such as a dripper base with a copper piece to short it or a copper plug which seems the best but it would cost me more than 30 bucks to order it where i live which i find ridiculous for a piece of metal. So the first method is what i get i guess... But, even though im far from an expert in electronics i think that the added resistance of the driper base will make my measurements extremely inaccurate. Is that true? Also, any other methods? Does any of you who owns a Therion knows already the internal resistance? Thanks in advance.
