When using temp control should I lock the resistance or leave it unlocked like on the dna 250

I have a Lost vape Therion 167 does anyone know if they come with the correct case settings or do you need to rum case analyser?

Just got a Therion 166 my first dna device so this may be a daft question. On device monitor when I take a pull it is adding to temp protected count on the graph even though its not getting up to the temp I have set my Therion to (240oc) and my Therion is not saying temp protected. So my question is should the counter always go up every time I take a pull when in temperature controlled profile or shouldn't it
