  1. My new DNA 75c that i just finished building with dual sayno 20700b will not charge over 4.16v it keeps turning off the charging at 4.1657v so I decided to try the battery test for the first time and it said waiting to fully charge then started right away im guessing this is fine and that the two battery is just not that great? O and soft cell cutoff is 2.75 that's fine right? Have not used 20700 before

  2. I'm about to start wiring mine up and I too can't get the wire to fit in there and I have a tone of turnigys fancy looking colour wire. 14 gauge no way 16 gauge i can but i have to trim some strands dont know if thats a good idea not a wire expert. Im thinking about just using 18 gauge(pins 7 8 9 10)and then 24 gauge (1 2 3 4 5 6 11 12 13 14 15)for the rest . 4 different evolve boards in the pic hahaha

These new brass and copper dna kits from Dripp3d are the easiest and the prettiest pre-cut boxes on the market.  29.7mm wide P+ style box. I also made a purple anodized aluminium one for a friend but the color bled like crazy and the 510 on their aluminum box isn't centered, the copper and brass are. Also, while the screen is centered, the buttons are just a hair off center, barely noticeable, but if this triggers your OCD, like me, you can't un-see it.  Anyway, still the best looking thing I've seen for a glu-n-go DIY.  about $20-30 bucks more than an Alpinetech kit. it can take a big atty, I put a 1300mah nano-tech, fits perfect with xt30 connector and a board mounted jst. I really wish these companies would stop using these 3d printed mounts and just make the box with #0-80 holes for proper standoffs, maintenence on a glued box is a pain in the ass, and glue sucks.  At least make the 3d one a 3 piece mount so the center portion with the screen doesnt get glued in too and can be removed with the rest of the board without removing the mount. If i make another one, I am cutting the mount in thirds, or drilling holes for standoffs- which can go horribly wrong. I do like the all flat, easy to polish, minimalist design that the screw-less look offers. Edit- I am 99% sure that the 2000mah maxamps can fit in here with a very well planned wriring job.  Very tight fit, but looks like its possible. KIMG0006.jpg  KIMG0008.jpg  KIMG0009.jpg

Wow those p boxes are amazing best ones I have seen and has the 510 cut out so nicee I had to do my own and that bit is not cheap. I thought my p boxes were nice god I was wrong

  4. So your building just a single wire spaced and nothing fancy I do think know how you would build anything like a staggertons without dry burning it you would get hot spot like crazy never get a perfect coil and I never would worrie about anything with ss it's not like I'm hitting it while there is hot spots which would be to much so I dry burn it to perfection aland it's great best flavor I have ever had and I've beverage heard of anyone saying you can't dry burn ss

  5. I use kidney puncher ss wire. The pics below are .4 ribbon wire ss with some 40g ss wire and some 28g ss. There are so many builds out there but I have been enjoying staggertons 6 wrap around a 3/32 drill bit ohms out at .14 for a single coil in the goon and I use djlsb smy dna75 profile for ss316L and everything works like a dream best vape that I have had

  6. Depends on the coil anywhere from .7 to .14 corrugated staple is .7 and I'm using a stargerton right now that's a .12 and ya I use them as a single coil in the goon. With the preheat lower then the wattage it just takes a second longer to get to the desired temp. I feel like a100 watts on fused clapton is alot. my dual 26g/40g fused claptons on the Griffin is usually at 25 watts and is a good vape.

  7. i used titanium for a while too but wont touch the stuff anymore. i have been using ss316L for about 8 months now and i could not see myself switching to another wire now. whatever you bought i would just toss it. I have no problems with any ss coils on my dna 200 or my dna 75. It usually depending on the coil im rocking but at 30 to 40 watts at 430 for temp preheats at 20w for 1 second i have a great tasting lots of clouds so a very satisfying vape click on the pic to see some of the coils i build using kidney punchers ss 316L so my wires used in this pic are 26g 28G 40g .4g ribbon all ss
