I fixed mine...not sure if this will fix yours but here is what I did. Open escribe software and go to options/user interface and select manufacturer. Now on the main screen you should have a new tab called "Mod". On that tab, there is a drop down called "cell" next to capacity. Make sure the number of cells selected matches the number of batteries that your mod uses. My Therion DNA 166 uses 2 18650 batteries, so I chose 2 cells in the drop down and it worked. Not sure why it changed to 3 cells as I didn't' even have it connected to the computer when the problem first showed up, but who cares. Its working now and that's all that matters.
