viking68 Posted July 1, 2015 Author Report Posted July 1, 2015 Is the DNA 200 conformal coated? If so, how thick? Normal for electronic devices is 25-75µm (50µm typical).
spado Posted July 1, 2015 Report Posted July 1, 2015 You can find a lot of information about how they perform conformal coating in this video Pbusardo posted last year (conformal coating starts at 11m and 4s):
John Posted July 1, 2015 Report Posted July 1, 2015 Yes the DNA 200 is conformal coated. Since that video we have a faster selective coating machine. It is silicone coated and we shoot for a dry thickness of 2 mils.
kaotikgood Posted July 7, 2015 Report Posted July 7, 2015 I'm guessing that since you said "shoot" it's a silicone resin not an RTV. What is the mildest solvent to break adheasion?
