John Posted August 6, 2015 Report Share Posted August 6, 2015 It will work in the cold even if you don't lock ohms: the cold resistance is temperature compensated. But yes, it will work if you lock ohms as well. It will also operate on Kanthal fine in the cold. With the obvious caveats that if your juice freezes it won't work well, but that's a separate issue.
