Can you change watts in temp control without using Escribe?

I have the settings in escribe set to Temp Dom, so i can change the temp on my device, but can you change the wattage without using escribe? This is my first DNA device, so sorry for newb question

You can. Its the same to change temp in "watt dominant" mode. 5 clicks to lock device, once locked press + and - for a few seconds, and you will be able to change watts. After you change watts, you press fire 5 times again to unlock .
