Hi...sorry for bring up this few months old post...wanted to ask if you get any news from Evolv...regardless the max brightness while firing (DNA60)...?
TIA
Thanks for your interest. No unfortunately they didn't get back to me. And just now seeing Bill's post I guess I'll just have to live with it unless Evolv fix the bug. I'm also running SP6.1

Interesting. I'll explore further and might even try his washer hack. Mine's also old and has signs of corrosion on some parts of the zinc alloy.

Absolutely! EScribe's Atomizer Analyzer will give you live resistance reading. And if you purposely short the 510 connector, it will tell you the internal resistance of the mod itself. And you can save this value in the Mod -> Electrical tabs in the Manufacture Interface (Options -> User Interface). And the mod will ignore this resistance in the future when you upload setting to the device.
Reading 0.18Ω higher is quite high. But the problem is between the board output and the 510 connection.

Specifically the ground.
Thanks for the feedback. I'll apply that escribe compensation/ fix if a second clean under and around the 510 doesn't help. I'd looked at and cleaned the solder points before my first post and couldn't see anything that looked like a dry joint or a bad connection. Not always visible though.

A little while ago I was given a used DNA 75 JAC Vapour series B mod. It reads resistances consistently high (0.55 Ohm builds read 0.73 Ohms on this device). My reference points have been other DNA mods - both a DNA 60 and another DNA 75.
I disassembled the device and cleaned all the contacts with De-Oxit but this hasn't made a difference.
I'm especially keen to fix this because I want to use this mod as a build stand/Ohm-reader.
Is there anything I can do in Escribe to diagnose or compensate for this?

Thanks. I've already started a ticket - hopefully they'll get back to me soon.

I've messed with the Brightness settings in Escribe and they upload and appear to operate as they should - except the Firing brightness. No matter where I set it (currently at 6%), it stays at maximum brightness while firing.

That's interesting and makes me feel a bit better that my setup doesn't seem to be faulty. I'm sure you're right about the battery savings but with this little lipo I'm trying to squeeze out as much life as I can.
I'll try that link.
Thanks for the welcome .

I've noticed the DNA 60 screen in my delro is at what appears to be maximum brightness when firing. I'd prefer it dimmer to save battery life (2200mAh lipo) but don't like stealth mode.

Can anybody help?
I've attached a screenshot of the Escribe Screen page.

Thanks Bill. I just set it to off while firing. Best solution for sure.
